Shorter times for spousal reunification and accepting more in 2017. use to be 47,000 and now up to 64,000! I hope my hubby can get his PPR end of this month or next!

To be honest I dont think he can sponsor but tell him to call head office and ask. Although someone mentioned he has option C the most important thing is will he have the money to support someone who is being sponsored. He has to show some sort of ongoing income and i dont think EI qualifies which is why they ask for letter of employment or pay stubs ON TOP of option c and notice of assessment. But you can double check and ask.. but i know being able to support the sponsored person is crucial to being approved.

He can still sponsor po, EI is different from social assistance/welfare . My husband also had EI for 5-6months before we submit our apps . We submitted option C , notice of assessment plus couple of his pay stubs. In spouse sponsorship there's no minimum requirements .

For my case po kasi I have emailed them the same enquiry and told them na I understand na within the processing time pa ung application namin but I want to be reunited with my husband before giving birth sa anak namin and I think it showed na we are sincere sa application po.

Hi kabayan pwede ba ako email sa immigration Manila to update my application? Nung August 2016 pa nag medically dependents ko til now Wala pa update Salamat

of course naman po you can. may iba na sinasabi na pag lagi lagi ka nag e email lalong tumatagal ung application po.I guess depende din po un sa officer na humahawak ng applications.

Just wanted to share my disappoinment.
I was really worried because it has been 2 mos since we submitted addt'l docs (no confirmation of receipt). We didn't bother to resend them because it was stated in the letter that they will not email confirmation of receipt and wait for 28 days etc...
Last week, I finally linked my app to mycic and no details on the addt'l docs
I felt something went wrong so I emailed Manila Immig to inquire last night.
They responded that they didn't receive it last Oct 9 so I have to resend it.
We wasted 2 mos for nothing. They should've emailed us earlier. If I didn't inquire then nga nga pala abutin ng asawa ko.
