Hello everyone,
My wife is a PR already and is sponsoring her daughter.
Application was received November 12, 2019.
I don’t have specific dates, but we received biometrics and medical request, sponsorship approval letter and a letter stating that the file has been transferred to MVO all in the past 2-3 weeks.
Forwarded to Manila Visa Office January 22, 2020.
Assuming all goes smoothly, we are looking at 6 months to PPR?

Oct 18 (friday) ako nag pasa ng passport, then by monday naka receive ako ng email na for pick up na visa ko. kaya mabilis lang
Just got this update on ECAS. I assume this means the file is now at the Manila Visa Office?

I am not sure where to post this question, so I am trying it here and hoping someone can help.
My dad is a PR and arrived in Canada in July 2017. In Nov. of same year, he went back home to deal with some personal matters. He has not come back since.
Now, he wants to come back to Canada. We were trying to book tickets for him and my mom (no issue with her), but the travel agent advised us to contact the Philippine Consulate as he may need to pay because of "overstaying". Anyone familiar with this?

We did that and biometrics a few weeks ago, before the file was transferred to MVO.

From Canada, sponsoring my 5 year old child in Philippines.
I’m having a hard time seeing other timelines for child as it’s mostly spousal which has more steps, background check, biometrics etc. My 5 year old in my case, at least, not requested and not required. So mine is waiting for Medical results and hopefully PPr next. I’ve seen other timelines but their visa office is India which could be faster than Manila.... just my two cents. I hope it’s the same or faster . Never can tell...
Wow good for you ! Congratulations! Sponsoring my child but I think mine is different since the visa office is in Manila. I heard within Canada is faster .
CSQ means the Quebec Selection Certificate/certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) for who has sponsor living in Quebec.
