New job after submitting profile

I'm about to switch my job soon and by the time I join my new company, I doubt a decision will be made on my application. In the event, I happen to switch before a decision is made/ while BG check is in progress, how do I communicate CIC about it? Through the profile page or some other mean and I won't be able to meet the employer reference letter requirements as I can't my new employer to issue such letter within a few days time of joining

CIC doesn't care about (or needs to be informed about) change of job after post ITA application submission. Of course, this assumes that your ITA wasn't contingent on getting 600 additional points via LMIA supported job offer or nomination from a province partly on the basis of having a job in that province.
