The medicals and the police clearance certificates need to be sent along with your application. Wondering why they havent been sent? Did you write a letter explaining that they will be sent later on because as far as I know, it clearly states in the Region Specific Guide that the medicals and PCCs must be submitted along with the package.

On average, 80% of cases are done within 6 months, once a completed appolication is received in ND. THe initial sponsorship approval usually takes about a month to a month and half in Canada. If you have not received the initial sponsorship approval, the sponsor should call the call centre here in Canada to see what is happening. If you have received the sponsorship, your jourey is now only truly beginning. You are still in the beginning of the process. You have to get them the PCC and medicals as soon as possible as your file will not be processed without them. Although, they are suppose to be sent with the initial file; Missausaga approves the sponsor first then forwards the file. Its up to ND to then review your file and request missing info.

You need to visit your DMP (designated medical professional) to complete your medicals ASAP and see your local police or whom ever takes care of issuing this certificate to you in India. If you have been abroad for at least 6 months or longer, you also need PCC from that respective country. This will hold your case up until it is all received.
