FTH not necessarily delay the process unless the visit is into some controvertial parts of the world.
I had frequent visits to US, South Korea,, and from the tracker you can see that backgroud checks were over in <100 days..

I don't see anything as hurdle in uer case as long as you have provided the police clearance certificate from UK.
Expect in anything from 2-4 months from date of submission of PP. It is apparant that ND CHC is working on full pace..overtime..overnight...

16 Months 3 Weeks and 4 Days what it took to bring the smile back to our family.. No doubt to say one of the happiest day of my life..

Guys, My consultant just called me to inform that they have received our PassPorts back with Visa.. Should be on my hand by tomorrow or a day after..

Still can't believe is this true or just another dream!!

There were many hopeless days and sleepless nights.. But between that there was continous support of my family and ofcourse you all forum members, I will never forget in my life how you all people prayed, wished and supported me, especially gav, sandeep, charmi, jassi_cool1980, nsukan and list goes on.. All my friends here Thank you very much for all your support, without your support I might had lost way ago..

This is high time for so many immigrant, I really pray to god all the rest of my friends here get their Visa soon.. As I know how much it hurts to wait..

God Bless all my friends who are not any less than my family..

About FTH, no one knows it for sure, logically speaking it should, but we have example of many applicants thru the process in no time despite of having lots of FTH, and there are some on the list (like me) who waited reasonably longer time to receive their PP back even though having no FTH..

So, buddy no concret answer.. that's how it is.. how much you try to evaluate the process, more the question arise for you, this is what my personal experience..

I have a small doubt plz ... having a foriegn travel history, does it delay visa processing after medicals (security and background check)???

Man, even though these are the precious moment for me to celebrate, but I feel missing something, wish I could had your update to celebrate.. Brother don't loose hope, its easier said than do, but I believe God will listen to my prayer for you, and soon you will get your PP back with visa..

Just don't loose your faith and trust on Almighty God, he has certain plans for you, and definately it has to better than what you think!!

When should CAIPS notes come?, as I ordered last week

What is backround check-up? How much time it commonly consumes?

You asked question from someone else but I know as i had ordered it 3 times . It usually takes 6 to 8 weeks to get CAIPS notes. If you are lucky enough, you will get it in 6 weeks but in my case it came first timein 45 days and then second time in complete 54 days. Hope this helps. But as all are saying...you should get your visas before CAIPS.

Your first question has been already answered very well by Vishesh..
Regarding the second one.. Background checks are performed to check if any criminal records and authenticity of your documents..
Usually they outsource this type of work to independent agencies, who basically scrutinize your past records and educational and experience certificates, our PCC for various country may verified at this stage..
