Very good initiative Charmi.. +1 for this.. I really look forward to help but never done with HTML, this is the first time I regret about it.. But open to help the way I can..

Please thread members can you please share yours details of foreign travel history, just Y/N should do..

About me, I don't have any travel history.. so "N" for my case..

Dear Charmi,
It is not a file. Its the same tracker you are seeing.
Just click quote and you will get all data, which you can copy and edit and post a new tracker with changes.
Or you can copy completely and past in excel for the names.
What we need is three columns from you.
Name - Foreign Travel history (Y/N) - NOC. Thats all.
Rest is already available.

for eg, members can add in these same lines as reply with quote:

Name - Foreign Travel history (Y/N) - NOC
1. nsukan - Y - 0213
2.manish82 -N -0213
3..

Good idea u could get this info from those who got the visa as well since time line is out there and one can check of the FTH does delay the pp submission time to receiving visa time... I am pretty sure it does.

So the FBI Fringe print is just a formality, they are still going to do background Check

Any ways what happened in your case you directly received by postman, or you already know that postman was coming

I mean every tuesday the ecas updates , you were already know that the decision was made for you and then after you got passport after 1week

hmmm we had really hard time getting getting PCC, a 11- 12 week for FBI clearance, then a huge problem for a PCC from Peru!!
First our friends had to pay the money in a Bank in Lima, Peru to get the finger print form, this could be obtained only from Lima Peru(!), then an authorized person had to take the finger prints. This had to be authorized by the Ministry of External Affairs Office in New Delhi. Only then would the Peruvian Ambassador, no less (!!) sitting in his embassy in New Delhi would authorize the prints!!! His authorization is absolutely needed. Once that was done it had to be sent to Lima Peru, where our friends... Oh yes, our friends had to be authorized to act on our behalf and that letter had to be authorized by the Ambassador as well!!. And finally our friends could get the PCC, which we had it sent to Canada, (via the consultant) to New Delhi. The only positive thing was that the Ambassador was so embarrassed that we had to go thru all this... he said he would try to make the process easier in future.

Compared to all this the PCC for India was just a breeze.

And after all that there are background checks, Driving History is checked, thanks to all the info available with just typing the SSN in the US. I have no idea how bck checks are done in India... just the non availability of public records make it easier I would think. But not so in other countries.

Yes, I have no idea why they make us go thru hell to get the PCC when they do the security and bck checks any way...
but then what say do we have?

Got the pp with the visa on Feb 15, Tuesday at around 11:30 am and the eCAS got updated around 1:30 pm.
So I didn't know that the visas were coming, I just had the gut feeling that it had to be the day, and it was...
but then I did have that feeling at least couple of weeks prior to Feb 15 as well.
