@all: I attended CIIP session alongwith Ankit. First day was not really useful, they stressed more on relocating to areas except Toronto and Vancouver. Lets see how it will go on tomorrow.

Today @ 1300 my ECAS status changed to Decision Made

Now planning to fly by last week of April.

Will be useful for people like me to take a decision , who need to travel a long distance for CIIP, from south India. I would avoid attending if the session is not that important for us other than the knowledg on the forum .

check if they give sessions in Chennai ....E-mail them I am sure they must be doing sessions nearby you .

HI nsukan,
I attended the session in mumbai - mid dec. I live in Goa. Yes, the first day is about general stuff. Though they do give u some details as to how to get ur cv in shape for canadian jobs.
But the one on one session with the counselor is just amazingly good. Though it might depend on the counselor as well. They give u referrals and info that may be really hard to find on ur own off the net and even from great forums like this in just that one one half hours.
Trust me, u will find it useful.

Having got fed up of checking the ecas status for the update that never seemed to happen I used this site
https://ecas.carroll.org.uk for knowing if there was some update,
and today when the software alerted me that there was some activity,
I check and the address - the address of my Canadian Consultant is gone, info that the file's in process since sep 8 2010, no change.
It had happened once before I guess 2 weeks before the file status changed to "in process"
But then given that ecas has been error prone these days... this probably says nothing.
But was wondering if anyone out there have had this address disappearing on ecas...

Its been two months today since I sent my passports and medicals .

till today morning my canadian consultant address was their but after 1.00pm adrress is gone.....even i confused for little time.
even i dont know what is it mean?
any guesses....

Did'nt they updated your Indian address on e-case ? . If you are still using consultants address as mailing address then I advice you to update them with your mailing address in India because CHC does not send passport(s) outside India .

they didn't update with my indian address but along with my passports i sent it.
and recently i got a reply from them for my query and they didn't ask me to send my indian address
let see what others suggest

Yes. Mine too.
Status changed to Inprocess. Details same as RBVO.
Address removed.

Yes, naavy, about that, I was told that even if we change the address on eCAS they still send papers to the consultant (in Canada in my case) unless we tell them they cease to be our reps. I didn't feel the need to do that, not wanting to burn bridges... Yes they do have my Indian address, they did ask for it specifically in the med request papers, and also called me for the address (among other things) when they had to send it to get one of our pp corrected. May be I will send a mail again to ensure they have our Indian address...

So several ppl seem to have their addresses missing. Well we could just hope there is some thing good happening with our files but it just could be some random testing of their eCAS system...
