New Delhi Passport Tracking Thread

Hi Friends,

I just checked with my bank if my DD has been en-cashed or not and unfortunately it hasn't been en-cashed as of now. Passport has been in NDVO since last 40 days and it hasn't been en-cashed as of now, so does that mean I am screwed. Am I denied ?

Please let me know your views.

Buddy with the current processing speed of NDVO i'd say you are fine. It takes over a month in a lot of cases to the best of my knowledge. But if it doesn't happen in another 10-15 days, don't feel shy in sending a mail to CHC. It will only help. Trust me.
The day i went them personally and delivered a letter at chc i got my Visa stamped. (Strange but true my friend)

And finally my Friends,

Yesterday i have received my passport with copr and docs submitted.
I was busy partying last nite and got up late today before giving this update to you all.
Details:
Visa stamp date: 03-May 12
Valid till: 03-Feb-12( As per medical 1 year validity i guess) rest info in my profile badge (let me know if i need to fill something more)

Thank you all for the support and the motivation. In all it's taken a little over 10 months from start and i must say i am so privileged as there are so many deserving candidates waiting for longer than me but CHC is playing with their time. My prayers for you friends. My desire is to establish myself in snowland and meet with as many of you guys and laugh this ordeal off over drinks/coffee. May the man/women above make your dreams come true soon.

guys need some guidance. Medicals send Jan 6th 2012, passport sent soon after in January. It's been 4 months and still no news about passport! Any idea? Online e-cas is showing medicals have been received. HOw long more should I wait before I start getting reall worried! Amy guidance would be truly apprciated.

Chintu keep yourself out of worry for next 45 days. I know its easy to say and hard to do, when people here get there passport in one month. But that's just few of them there is a whole lot who is waiting from long time.

They have categorized passport on basis of different things and different officer works on it. Sometime they pick on random basis for some specific check and those cases got delayed. I will suggest think that you have received passport and focus on how you are going to settle out there, place, funds, job, french. In case if you have family out there then yes you do not have to think of all this. But this is the mistake which i have done that i did no landing preparation and now i do not know when i will go no at lest till September.

Also there is one CIIP session in Kathmandu or if you are at any other place and you have not attended one make sure you attend one of theses.

And as i said sit back relaxed if you do not hear any news in next 2 month then think what you have to do but i am sure that case will not happen.

Are you MI2 or MI3? Please tell us when your application reached CIC Sydney and we can figure that out.

Which date did you rcv this Med rcvd line in ECAS?

Also When was your RPRF DD encashed?

1u need to shoot CSQ at a regular interval
2. visit them in person, if possible, believe me, u will get ur passports with visa stamped within few days.

Well these are the docs u will get:

1) Passports with visa ( obviously) It will have visa type - IMIGRANT, your name and validity of 1 year from medicals. Please note the visa does not have any picture. Just text (i think the new visa has a little less maple on it. )

2) COPR Document ( Single large A4 size page with photocopy): In it will be the same details as above and also there might be a clause if there is any condition. Your medical score. A very clumsily pasted photo of the applicant and a section below for landing officer to fill when you land.

3) A few pages of important info that you need to know. This is the same for everyone and most of the info there is already available on this forum.

4) All your original docs ( Work letters, salary slips, ielts TRF etc)

5) The receipt for your draft encashment if they haven't sent it already.

Yup that's all in one big yellow envelope that you will get.
