Heyyyyyyyyyyyy......!!!! Gud news today i found decission made on my ecas statuts my timeline is :-
Passport sent to chc nd -12th sept2011
Ecas update application recieved on 18 th august 2011
Ecas update medical recieved on 12 th oct 2011
Ecas update in process started on 25 th oct 2011
Ecas update decission made 31 st oct 2011
Passport recieved waiting hope for best

I pray for all frns on this forum who are waiting recieve there gud news soon ....

It was just 10 days before the decision made..it took more than two months for them to update.. I am living in Canada and i did my medical from Toronto ,DMP send to local office here.sometime the medical received lines comes with decision made. MY advice is that don't send any unnecessary email to visa office..it will take minimum Two months to get back your passport...All the best..

I send on august first week and just got the passport back..heard that unnecessary inquiry email on the file will delay the process..just wait for the address disappear and start counting from there...all the best..( I know it's frustrating , i was not able to sleep thinking about it)

I am trying to check my status on Ecas but I never get any status from day one (Jan 2011), I have tried all the combination of application number & UCI.
Please advice further on following queries.
1. My application number start with E followed with 9 digits. Is it ok? Means other do have same type of combination. As I heard 2 alphabet and 9 digits are there.
2. Is it normal that one can't see his status? What % in your opinion?
3. Its more then 4 month I have send my PP to NDVO. What is the time Limit to get PP back according to current speed of VO ?
4. Is there anything I should contact VO.

My time line are as follow:-

File received 12-Dec-10
Email from CIO 11-Mar-11
Letter From New Delhi CHC 04-Apr-11
Letter for medical, Passport, PCC & Marriage questioner 19-May-11
Med done 04-Jun-11
PP send with medical copy, PCC and Marriage questioner 06-Jun-11
Receipt received for RPRF 21-Jun-11

I checked my status today, still in process. Medicals expiring on 23-11-2011. Very disappointed and anxiously waiting for my passports.

bro plz contact them by sending mails or a fax and inform them about the expiry date of ur medicals. Hope u get a positive reply

Hope you have given India address to return ur passports?

I am also not sure whether we can go to New Delhi and get the passports back (not a option in ur case since u are not in india). If anyone knows if we can go to visa office and collect the passports?
