Hi

I got my re-medicals after two years of BG checks.

I am unable to open this link sent to me by NDVO in request letter.

Have they asked about two forms IMM08 Generic/Schedule 1 background declaration?

Please read....

Application form (IMM08 Generic)
FOR YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE Please visit http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/applicationregular.
asp You must include any new corresponding documents which will support and substantiate any new information in the updated application form.

a. Schedule 1 Background/Declaration for FOR YOU AND YOUR SPOUSE (UPDATED)

I have a confusion, please sort it out.

Sandeep

Does it mean NDVO has started issuing medicals again?

Dear Sir/Madam,

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

Please be advised that a procedural fairness letter has been mailed on September 26, 2012 at the below address which is on file:
If you have completed Medicals, then Procedural fairness letter may be for the below reason:

1. If the medical officer is of the opinion that the health condition of an applicant, or the applicant’s family member, might reasonably be expected to cause an excessive demand on social services (M5), the medical officer writes a medical narrative, followed by a list of the required social services and their cost implications.

Upon receipt of this opinion, the immigration officer sends out the (excessive demand on social services)EDSS procedural fairness letter. This letter invites the applicant to provide the additional information required to overcome the finding of inadmissibility.

The following codes have been added to the immigration medical system (IMS) to inform the immigration officer that the client is inadmissible due to a health condition:

T9 – for excessive demand on social services;
H9 – for excessive demand on health services;
E9 – for displacement of Canadians who are on a waiting list.

The system will allow the entry of simultaneous codes (H & E, T & E, etc.). For example, a person can be inadmissible because their condition is causing an excessive demand on both health and social services.

hi, Guys its been so long that i hv visited the forum. I always wanted to share my landing experience in this forum but unfortunately i dint hv the internet connection.
We took the british airwaYS fl8 from hyderabad to london. it was a nice fl8. and in london i hsd to change the terminal to catch air canada fl8 from london to toronto. even air canada was good but the british airways was too good. once we landed in our dream land it was a gr8 feeling. just come out of the fl8 and follow the signs to finish immigration. in the immigartion the officer was nice, not too many questions. he asked me if any goods are to b followed, i said no. asked me if i m carrying any meats and same answer no. then he checked the customs card that we filled in the fl8 and wrote on card IMM1. then he showed us the way to finish our landing procedure. it was long Q of abt 20 people and when our turn comes the lady officer showed another way to finish the landing. and this is the actual line there were only 3 or 4 people b4 us. Even here not too many Questiond, he just took our address in canada and updated and said that we wl receive our pr cards in the given address in 45 days. thats it. there is another guy to give some important papers to settle in canada and all useful stuff and gifted us a small bag. from hr we proceeded to collect the baggage and then there is again someone to chech our customs card. i declared that i m carrying 15000cad so they asked me how i m carrying i said some are in travellers cheques and some money. she dint even check the money and asked to move. finished the landing procedure and moved to another terminal to catch fl8 to my final destination, SUDBURY. reached sudbury in an hour and my friend welcomed me along with the first snow fall of the season. too cold hr in sudbury. we went to a motel and after two days we could manage to find an apartment. its of 800$ plus hydro charges. the very next day of landing we went to apply SIN and a bank account. it was very easy process hr just like indian private corporate offices. the i took a sim card.and applied for internet connection. its not that cheap here. internet is about 65$ a month with unlimited usage and 20mbps speed, they gave me a wi fi router. it was just installed in my home. so every thing is set here except for the job. I am applying for the jobs but not received any calls bak from the recruiters. so lets see how long i hv to w8 for the job.

note: they dont ask u for the b4 form unless u hv something to be followed later. no pics or bills of jewellery asked.no complications at all. so guys get ur visa soon and fly to our dream land. meet u guys hr in canada.
