Thanks Your Highness (Me bowing Japanese style )

Yes it is a full on head on situation over here. I'm a young guy still in his 20's so i do have time. But time stops after DM and i'm sure there are a very few people who happily bear this wait at such a late stage. As they say 'Aar ya paar kuch to ho par jo be ho jaldi ho'.

I'm sure i'm safe but my mind keeps wondering. have they lost it in the mail? have they misplaced some of my docs and are holding back to cover themselves up? and so and so..........

Until then i'm watching 'The trailer park boys' and 'Corner gas' All seasons marathon and anyone else in my situation should also do that. They will learn so much about Canadian pop culture and stereotypes. And of-course how can we miss Russell peters............

Its been seven days i got DM status and i am loosing my nerves. I was never tensed this much.

Hi Whiz kid,

I'm sure your pp and copr will come soon too. Until then my friend watch 'Trailer park boys' and 'corner gas' if you haven't already. Amazing funny shows. In fact shows like 'The office' and 'Always sunny in Philadelphia' are copied from 'Trailer park boys'(I think so). It show such a different and rare side of Canada.

Life is such a mystery ; while reading your post i was just discovering how it all started and phases during this..

1) One of my friend went to Singapore which gave fire to our dreams of exploring foreign oppurtunites which were there in my mind but i left it to fortune.

2) next day read ad in english daily of Y-axis
3) called them and they analysed best place for us is Canada
4) researched more and found its one dream destination
5) Kept our fingers crossed and prayed that in NOC list we should get our code.
6) suspense over whether we will qualify in IELTS or NOT
7) Anxiety on can we make our application on time.
8) PCC again was a big task and was like a challenge.
9) Medicals again gave us goose bump and we keep praying that it should go well.
10) now wait of PPT
11) Once you attend CIIP you know where you stand when you see people who have done so much post landing planning and research already.

so overall i know it will keep going as it is and i pray from bottom of my heart that you get your passport soon with the STAMP because i can understand your situation.

Unfortunately, my internet was down from last 4 days, and i was unable to get online at all. I am at office today, and am back online.

Well, by the Grace of Lord Shiva, i got my passports back yesterday, with Canadian Visa on it.

I would particularly like to thank everyone in this forum, who were there at all times with me... helping me in understanding the process, giving me more confidence when needed, and specially people like Saahil and Abhishek Goel, who call me even now to comfort me and discuss a lot of things.

Processing Fees DD encashed on 17-Jan-12
PER mail received on 1-Feb-12
Documents transferred to NDVO on 21-Feb-12
Request for MR, RPRF, PCC, Passports on 5-Mar-12
Medicals sent by DMP on 13-Mar-12
Medicals copy, PCC, Passports, RPRF sent by me on 20-Mar-12
'Medicals Received' line updated on 25-Apr-12
DM updated on 28-Apr-12
Canadian Address updated on 30-Apr-12
Passport at home on 1-May-12

hi everyone i have submitted my passport on 26 feb at delhi by speed post and am just wondering how long does it take to get the passport back .i inquired through mla in canada and was told that they are doing the back round check does any one know what is it and how long will it take to get my passport back i lived in canada for 5 years as student .

Day after I am going to complete 3 months from Medical Request. Still waiting for DM amd PPs. So I can well imagine what you are going thru.

Will catch up on Trailer Park Boys and Corner Gas. Which channel airs it? Russell Peters f course has been on of my fav!! My entire family is hooked on to Big Bang Theory and 2 and a half men. Will switch gears to something more canadian now
