Canadalover,

I applied through a consultant but i sent my RPRF and passports myself and medicals are obviously sent by doctor. SO it is better if you send RPRF and Passports in a single packet through courier, DHL/blue dart is best. THey deliver it next day wherever you are in India.

Hope this help.

Thanks a lot VisheshMalhotra.

Sandeep,

Have you given your interview in October 2010 and submitted your passport in October and still waiting?

My pps + medicals + rprf were received my NDVO on 01/12/2010. Since that time my ecas status has not been updated. I have ordered caips notes, just waiting for results.

Hi everybody,

I have a few queries:

1. How much time it takes for the DMP to send our medicals to CHC, New Delhi?

2. When does the E-CAS gets updated that they have received our medicals? Does it gets updated for everyone who had sent medicals or it depends on the CHC clerk?

3. What are the chances of getting VISA after getting PPR, RPRF and medical request from CHC?

I have a few queries:

1. How much time it takes for the DMP to send our medicals to CHC, New Delhi?

- I got meds done on 20th APril at Fortis mohali and DMP send it in 4 days.

2. When does the E-CAS gets updated that they have received our medicals? Does it gets updated for everyone who had sent medicals or it depends on the CHC clerk?

- No fixed criteria, i got "meds received" line after decision made and receiving my PPs back. Some people have got their status to meds received before that.

3. What are the chances of getting VISA after getting PPR, RPRF and medical request from CHC?

- Almost 100%. Because if there is an issues, they would not send you all these requests.

Hope this helps.

When are you planning to land in Canada?

Do you have any job offers or will search there?

Which is the cheapest airline? Do we need to buy two way ticket?

Are you planning to take any temporary medical insurance? If yes, from whom and how much it costs?

Thanks
