NEW DELHI - 2015 SPOUSAL VISA APPLICANTS

Hello everyone!

I applied for my wife last year in June 2015 and just recently (well, just a couple of days ago), two officers from CIC showed up without any notice at her house and conducted an interview with her for 3-4 hours. Is this genuine? We are so confused and worried. They said they wanted to make sure that the marriage is not a fraud and they bombarded her with 200 questions pertaining to her marriage and also kept taking photographs of the house, family members and the village as well!

Guys! please someone! tell me if something similar has happened to them or to somebody you might know that has probably gone through a similar situation.

I think theres too many requests for gcms notes hence everyone is receiving them really really late and some are like me, who have not received them at all. I think MP inquiry is probably the best way to go at this point because by the time we get the GCMS notes, that status of the file has changed already. Because for me it has been over 2 months since I requested the notes and have still not received them after emailing them a numerous number of times as well. Its just complete BS!

I had done an MP inquiry last week and found out that our application has been approved since Sept 14, 2016. Our e-cas status still shows "In Process" and it is now 3 weeks since then and we still have not heard regarding a PPR. The MP said that a passport request should come soon but they did not specify a date for passport request issuance. Has this happened to anyone else?? If yes, how long did it take you to hear for the PPR after the application was approved and was your status changed to DM or was still In Process.

And no I cannot link my application because I have a representative. I can easily take him out after filling the form but it has already been so long for us that I really dont want to take any chances of missing information or sending to the wrong email etc so I am holding myself back from changing the contact information on there.

Please help on what can be done so we can get the passport request possibly...

They haven't updated anything under "application status" since august 2015 for my application. Also, I'm unable to link my application to GCKey. It shows as "no file found" and please try again later. I have no clue what is going on with my application. Almost 2 years now.

Contact MP and when you trying to link application to GCKey keep GCMS notes together and answer the questions according to GCMS that worked for me

cic typed wrong home address i can see in online status, And after that i was trying to update by my self but i couldn’t coz my home no little big and could not fit into the box. even though i aldo email them but no response so far its been 4 months. please give me any solution that what should i do?

Hi vrybdy I am 26 june 2015 applicant. got remed. on 2 june 2016 and got it done on 7 june. Since dan have not heard anything from ndvo No change in ecas nothing. mp says only background checks r left...going to b 4 mnths aftr remd. Really stressed out
