I have been a silent follower of this forum for a while now, thought I should update you guys on my case. Application received by CIC on Jan 18 2016 (yes 2016!!), transferred to NDVO in early March 2016, got decision made today (May 6 2016)!!! I guess now is just waiting for PPR and stamped visa

Congratulationssss!!! You got some luck!! Under 6 months for processing time! Its good to know they have sped up the process for applicants after us ...atleast everyone isn't going to suffer like 2014/15 applicants. Congrats once again! Hope you are with your loved ones soon!

Question for you all: When does your E-CAS status change? It says they update it every Tuesday. Do you guys only see a change on Tuesdays or its randomly on any day? For all the ones that have seen their status change to DM please shed some light...

You can carry as many items as you want. There is no limit while landing. The only thing is that you have to declare them. Also, if there are items which will follow you or you'll bring them in a later trip you also have to declare them while landing, so that you don't have to pay duty when you bring them later.
Fill in the B4 form with the list of all items. See below link for more information:
