before ordering gcms notes i actually went through if its safe or not to order...even other forum's they mentioned " as long as its electronic notes it does affect because the detail will b stored in gcms database that doesn't interferes with processing time" dats why i went for it....now its so frustrating with mixed comments about it. how long this wait is gonna kill . still didnt receive medical request too... :-X

i was also one among who got stuck in august form update. so my timeline as follows:
AF: September 15, IP: august 6 2015. second notes i applied 18th of July...which i received yesterday.

File Transferred to Local Consulate: 27 Nov 2014

So Basically i filled my application in Sep but i have till not received information for NDVO
Mine too same her still AR and i applied on 25th SEPT

So I am July 2014 applicant. Alhamdulilah. Our file went in process on Aug 14 2015 and we received a re-medical email on Aug 17 and my husband got it done in mumbai today Aug 18.
This wait has been just crucial on my 7 years old daughter, my husband and myself. Most of you are either newly married or just spouses sponsoring each other but imagine the pain of a 7 years old waiting to meet her daddy. Mp enquiry replies has been something that I already know, so why is it called an 'enquiry' again? 3 of us suffering for 13 months now!! Separation of a family! According to the MP my wait is till Jan 2016! Well, 5 more months yes NDVO my 7 years old daughter is strong enough to handle you!!! This whole process is just pain pathetic!! How long does one have to wait after re-meds as it's only valid for 3 month? Only thing is to tell u all is to have faith in God. Pray, cry and stay strong and you will win. In Shaa Allah. May Allah bless you all.

HEY ... iam in the same situation like you..its truly pathetic n disgusting the way they make us wait...even praying dsnt seem to work...btw who told you remeds are valid only for 3 months ?? i thot its 1 year

They are still working oct./nov. files. Some Dec. files have gone "In-Process".

since i was panicked seeing my notes yesterday my husband met a consultant. last year there were many cases proved as " marriage of convenience/ fake" in Vancouver. so the pressure on NDVO is so damn high...that majorly affects on us. adding to it i have a doubt " the consultant said its not good to order gcms more than twice since it might change your file position when they pull out" but how come ordering a electronic notes will have an effect on our processing?? because that's the only option left to us right? senior member can you please share your knowledge on this....

since i do not have the status changed to IP, bt i did get my remedical request, i dont know whethr i should update the excel sheet as IP on 17th aug..

As you can see from last two months...NDVO works so fast only d first week. batch wise they are updating...july who got IP - gets august PPR. And then second set is followed.

Ordering the notes does not have an impact on the application and its your right to access the information; it does NOT "change" the position of the file.. You can order as much as you like.

It happens. If you notice they seem to be updating in waves; majority of the people who went IP were from the first two weeks of Oct and odd numbers from Nov/Dec so in the next way we should hear more.

I thought it was because of the Nepal earthquake that was causing the delays because New Delhi was rushing to finish all the applications from Nepal, it's also being reflected on the New Delhi 2014 spreadsheet. I believe there was 1 or 2 sponsorships from Nepal and they have already received visas, correct me if i'm wrong. Its either the combinations of outdated forms and Nepal earthquake that are causing these delays.
But that's my two cents.

Yeah i guess it is indeed combination of both. But now everything seems to be back to normal. After very long time now i saw so many updates coming.

This is first time here i have heard such comments about GCMS notes. i do not think ordering notes affects the processing time. All the senior members in this thread and also in this forum have always mentioned that you can order notes as many times you can.
