What they have mentioned in notes column that is the last 2 pages of gcms notes

it is just similar to that of my first set of notes. NOTED TEXT: immigration office requested, have you taken test for your proficiency in English/french, intended occupation, my DOB mentioned. nothing i could find useful

yeah when i ordered for my first set of gcms notes it was "in progress" when the file was untouched. but now when my ecase states its in process...why it hasn't appeared so in notes...dts what i am concerned of...

You received notes on 18 August, which means it is the status of 18 July (1 month previous). Did your file go "In-process" on 18 July? If not, then you will see as "in progress" instead of "in-process".

yeah u r right! i have the same in my mind. but just a thought if they would have retrieved the information on July 18 then why would they take time gap of 30 days? i might be wrong in this logic .

On top of your notes, you should see date generated as July in header.

These guys are stupid or probably smart. They do not want people to order notes again and again. Thats why they have this 30 days waiting time on purpose. Otherwise, these notes can be generated with single click as all information is already exist in system.

mine doesn't show any medicals received yet. any idea why so????

Don't worry I have the same case. When did you sent your up front medical?

They have it noted in their system just they haven't updated ECAS.

Could some of you please let me know what category is printed in your Upfront medical form? There have been a couple of rejections since yesterday because of the type written on the form (Like Non-EDE family, EDE-Worker..). If you could tell me what is written on your form, would be very very helpful.

u have a point...if that's the case..you are right ! serious no one can effortlessly ruin our lives like this...these ppl and their timelines seriously!! even easy stuffs have made so damn difficult...

Here are my thoughts about this:

the problem is that one case out of 100 or 1000, that is is fake and fraud. some people wants to get abroad by hook or crook. That's why i think they keep extending the timelines and they have more time to review person activity.

Initially whole process was just 3 months long. couple of family friends i know got here in that timeline.

I am freaking out now and am picturing being denied entry to Canada, never being able to see my spouse again and worse still a marriage in trouble...All because I misunderstood and assumed one fact wrong.

I believe, even if they take that as a rejection...they would certainly not make that a reason for a rejection in your spousal file. In order for them to reject a spousal application...the marriage needs to be fraud or application filed with intent to only gain status. This i was told by the interview officer.
In your case...worst case scenario they may have doubts...in which case they would interview and you then have your chance to explain which is good!

You are correct it hardly takes 3 or 4 months to issue visa they have to check only the eligibility, medicals, fees payment, security and criminality my file is in process since March almost 5 months they are sleeping on my file when we had gone for mp enquiry they still didn't go for background checks they have dumped my file

what i noticed is that July and probably August applicants are experiencing some delays. The reason behind is Updated CIC forms. On Aug 1st, CIC updated there forms. They returned every single applicant file who applied with outdated form. As a matter of fact, they even asked some poor July applicants to send back updated forms and did not approve there file unless new forms were provided.

i am on of the victim of this change. I initially applied in August, but with outdated forms. Month later i was contacted by CIC to resubmit with new forms. Hence, now after everything i became October applicant.
