So the bottom line is NDVO lost your first medical,that's why they asked for full medical..
Any idea does medical get extended coz I read somewhere it gets extended but don't seem to be true as everyone is getting remed request .

You don't have to inform cic about it

Hi Sashee,
It would happen in a rare case where NDVO would extend the Medicals ( not sure if they notify the applicant). But one thing for sure for re medicals applicant should resubmit it only when asked for and not voluntarily submit it as it takes a longer time for NDVO to locate the file it belongs to.

Instead wait for the request and they will give some number which the medical Diagnosis centre would email them along with the result that takes 3 days. whereas you sending them may take weeks or even a month.

Coz i read somewhere - not more than 2 weeks as canadian vacation cannot be more than 2 weeks.

Hey,

As you know a PR holder is required to be in the country while the application is in progress but its understood that we can take a short holiday for 2-3 weeks and anything over will only cause a trigger that the sponsor has abandoned and has moved outside the country thus making the application invalid.

I would say a month max and nothing more..
