NEW DELHI - 2014 APPLICANTS

I applied for my husbands visa in March 2014 and i was approved on April 2014 about 7 days apart. My file was sent to Delhi , was received in delhi in May. I have not seen any further update other then. APPLICATION RECEIVED MARCH 2014 AND MEDICAL RECEIVED - no further updates. Me being the sponsor as i am already approved i can no longer track under my name on Ecas. Just wondering is it seriously talking a year? can this seriously be possible? once they receive the file then what happens it just sits there till yrs time? im so confused i miss my husband so much ..


I am hearing so many thing from so many people, specially old uncles saying that when i go to India i should go and speak to the Canadian High Commission in Delhi? Would this be feasible ?

It ll take time accordingly...On an average 7-9 months. There is no one @ NDVO who ll give u any answer. Even if u r writing email to NDVO u ll get reply after a month. So, its better to wait for the decision.

15) If you visit your spouse after filing application, send photos/ ticket/ boarding pass from this trip to the VO with a cover letter quoting the UCI and application number mentioned in the PPR you received from VO.


I am planning to visit my wife in November-December as it might take up to May 2014 till she get her visa.

Is it really necessary for me to submit the travel documents if I visit in November-December after filing the application? If we do send it, then where do we have to send it too at what address?

I don't think u need to send any other stuff apart from application. As its already approved as sponsor. and u can be visit home country any time for any reason. It may get creat doubt in their mind. unless and until they ll not ask anything don't send it from your side. Sometime it may ruin the case.

Hopefully, this is my personal observation across the different cases.

Visa interview location- New Delhi(planning to give)

Can't make surer what is going on for my application and sponsorship ?

Currently Nov - Dec'13 applicants are getting visas, they are going to start working on Jan'14 applicants.
