I applied for my husbands visa in March 2014 and i was approved on April 2014 about 7 days apart. My file was sent to Delhi , was received in delhi in May. I have not seen any further update other then. APPLICATION RECEIVED MARCH 2014 AND MEDICAL RECEIVED - no further updates. Me being the sponsor as i am already approved i can no longer track under my name on Ecas. Just wondering is it seriously talking a year? can this seriously be possible? once they receive the file then what happens it just sits there till yrs time? im so confused i miss my husband so much ..

I am hearing so many thing from so many people, specially old uncles saying that when i go to India i should go and speak to the Canadian High Commission in Delhi? Would this be feasible ?

- app received March 2014
- sponsor approved April 2014
- medical received April 2014

- no further updates
Good Morning

Average time taking to process a file in Delhi is 8-10 months now

Do not listen to every one, listen to this forum and listen to our grief.

Just tell those uncles you will be talking to the Canadian High Commission when you go their(Do not waste time convincing them).

New Delhi started with Jan 2014 applicants.so you will hear from them may be by October. Don't get upset we cant do nothing other than waiting.Cheer

Hi friends,

My husband is a Canadian PR currently residing in India. He is traveling back to Canada this December.

He will initiate the PR processing for me and our kid in the month of feb or march 2015.

I would like to know how much time it will take for us to receive the PR.

Also can we send the PCC and medicals at the time of filing our application itself or do we need to send them only when they are requested?

Could you please also let me know what all documents needs to submitted with the application so that the processing is done faster and also not rejected.

Please help.

Awaiting for your response.

Thanks
Srilatha.
