Guys quick response required!!!!
has anyone recalled their passport recently, if yes hw, coz the usual way is not workin wid me , i had requested mine on 10th of Jan but hv not got it back yet.

I hv to catch a flight on 30 jan morning..........

Any suggesstions???

u mean u requested ur passport without visa ???? if yes thn i did the same i mail them they call me back and then they send me passport back it reach to me within 2 3 days and u can also go thr and collect ur passport but atleast mail them that u will come and collect ur passport in person because u have an urgent travel and you cant wait any more further due to travel

yea i hv TRV multiple entry till 2021, like u said i did mail them earlier about returning my passport they acknowledged it by e-mail and said u will c action in 5 business days, but they din call me. on 7th day, i again faxed them to confirm the dispatch of passport , they said ur request is forwarded to relevant unit and u'll b contacted if required.
Now tweleve days hv passed i hvnt got my pp. i dnt know wat to. chkd wid my local post office no mail has come till date.
Do u suggest that i again mail/fax them and go directly to chc??
if i shud mail, then cn u tell whether in general enquiry or case-specific or rather fax them.

I heard that They some time cancel the Valid Visa (TRV) when the person's file is under process for PR under spousal sponsorship. I am not 100% sure but in my case they cancel my Visa without prejudice coz VO said that my status had been changed now and you can be issued a PR Visa soon. So Please don't ask your passport though it has a multiple entries Visa.

Just an advice.....Ask and consult others also.

yea dat may b but im nt in process even, i think only while stamping pr visa they might cancel trv.

Canadian immigration minister jason kenney asking for suggestions on his twitter account if there is a provision to boost up process with paying extra fees how many are you agreed..... He posted this for ankara visa office but i think this will impliment on all visa offices his acct id is @kenneyjason on twitter.......

ye i also got the same reply that mail transfer to relevent section and they will contact u further and they call me back and even i told them i will come to delhi to pic up my passport in 4 5 days but that banda said i will mail ur passport today and u will get in 2 3 days but u can go and collect ur passport if u need in 1 2 days but before must talk to them send them email again .. and in my case i first did inquiry through MP due to some urgent travel and he also mail the ndvo to return my passport back as i was having some urgent travel to US

ok but hw cn i contact them on phone all th enumbers are now saying that they dont entertain calls on immigration related queries. you cn mail or fax only. my wife also went to the MP office just nw and he has mailed another request on his behalf to NDVO.

if MP mailed them m sure they will call u and u also mail them again and write u really need passport in 1 2 days u have tickets booked and ur coming to delhi to pic up ur passport
