New Delhi - 2012 applicants

I m new member of this forum. Please help me in suggestion.
App received: Sep. 12th 2012
Sponsorship approval: Oct. 29th 2012

I have not received the PPR yet. My husband's company wants him to work in Canada from January 7th/2013. They have sent all the paperwork and application for work permit. He told his Manager before too that his PR is applied but his manager said that they want him before in Canada for work.

What will happen if he comes on work permit here. Can he somehow change his address and ask CIC to give him PR from Canada? Can he send his passport from Canada to ND in post from Canada? Please help me in suggestions if u can.

Did he already get his work permit or yet to applied. I am not sure but doubt if he would get WP because his application for PR is already submitted.

They sent him the application and it says that the whole process takes 7 weeks to complete.

Well, I am not sure about. Though the application for the WP yet not filed; so it all depends upon the VO who may handle application for WP. CIC allotted a unique ID to every applicant regardless the application type so the VO can easily find that the person who is applying for a WP is already applied for PR and in that case some time VO denied the application of TRV, WP etc .

I am just assuming.

Congratulations in advance that you are almost done. Just wait with patience , it will take max 2-3 weeks more to get your passport back with Visa.

Oooops! Sorry I did not see on the left. ;D well the preocessing Time in ND VO is 6-9 months so you have to wait for some time. does your e-cas changed to "In process' ?

This is the email I got today for CIC......I have paid both 490$ and 550$ fee with my passport.....has anybody got any such email...

I dont know if I should take it as a good sign or not as they haven stated any other problem with my application ...I hope to get some news soon....

In deed it is a good sign, As your application is "In Process" and soon you will get your PP with Visa. The total Process in New Delhi is 9 Months. So you will get it soon.

My husband(sponsor) also got an e mail yesterday. They send the confirmation about the address change e mail and mentioned that they have changed the address as per our request. It gives me hopes that they may be working on my file (trying to keep hopes alive) and I'll hear something good soon

You may be called for an interview. The application should be "In Process" if interview waived or done (with +ve Result)

Went thru June Applicants spread sheet and I see its been over 60-75 days since most of them received PPR and there is no change in there status. I mean IN Progress or Documents requested nothing like that...Correct me if I am wrong....
