No updates for anybody at all......amazing........i guess they update the e-cas on friday evenings.........all the progress of whole week is updated once .......is that so....???
 
I looked at the spreadsheet. 87 days average for spouse sponsorship approval. Wowie. Used to be 30! This is the new improved system?

we felt the same during the last weekend but didnt get expected responses from ND... anyways we will see what happens this weekend...

I guess i will get some updates during last week of this month or may be november 1st week...
 
Thomas.......so u were not contacted by NDVO even once after your PPR......its been 2.5 months .....is ur case in process...??

nothing from ND after the PPR letter which was sent to my lawyer.... i even checked with the lawyer he said nothing he heard from ND...

i sent a letter to ND to change the address from my lawyers address to my local address during august 20... i guess that has made my process get delayed....

mine is stilll " application received" ... getting very upset in seeing these two words..

(12-2004) E - Authoriy to Release Personal Information To A Designated Individual
Choose One:
Tick off the first box "i authorize"
Questions 1-4 are for you, the principal applicant to fill out
1. Family Name and Given Name
2. DOB
3. Name of Office:New Delhi, India Location of Office: New Delhi, India
4. File Number or Client ID

Questions 5-6 are for your spouse, the Canadian citizian or PR to fill out
5. Family Name and Given Name
6. Address, Phone and Email (make sure to use the same email that you provided when you first submitted the application)

7. Principal Applicant to sign and date/Sponsor to sign and date

Pay the $5 online, print the receipt and fill it out with your sponsors information and email all 4 pages.

fill the forms out and then scan them and emailed them, the email address is at the bottom of form IMM-5563

Pinder123 : yr note is very important for those who want to apply for CAIPS. Read yr POST ON SEPT18, 2012.I am applying for the same , I have few quires as under :
1. What is the basic difference in CAIPS & GCMS
2. WhicH ONE is good-in point 1

Basically I applied in May - 2005 and all the time my status shows in ecas "In process" . and am very anxiously waiting for CIC REPLY.

What does address change mean? Does the Ecas show both the mailing addrs in India and res addrs in Canada?

Yes, right now when I log-in via the file number, I see the Indian mailing address and now the additional section with current home address which is Canadian. It doesn't state the full Canadian address but just the city, province and Canada.
 
smvi- I hope you have followed up on you pp photos as to whether they have been delivered. As they called you and were looking for the same. All these agencies work like govt agencies. Its up to the applicants to ensure that all the paper work and documents are fed to them on their plate and pray for the officer to have a good mood that day looking for the file. I loved the postman and bell comments. You guys waiting patiently and helping other folks in the forum will definately count as a blessing in your life ahead.
