My wife received an email for face to face interview next month. They have asked for my phone number and said that they'll call me too at the same time.

In my case:
We had a big engagement party with 200 people in january.
Next week we married in temple with few family members(not all). This is required to register marriage quickly.
We registered it in court next day. (without temple marriage, wait time is 1.5 months). I left for Canada next week.
I filed for her immigration from here. Big application packet included 100 photos and all detailed information.
My actual wedding is scheduled in december alongwith reception. Interview is in November end.

I have zero confidence on the intelligence of north americans.
How serious do you guys think this is? Can they actually reject on this basis?

Whats your status says at this moment?

Don't worry, things will be fine and you can expect a quick progress after the interview.

Hi,
:)
I have applied to Sponsor my baby boy (5 months old) on June 25 2012. My application was approved and sent to India on September 5th and on 15th of September, CIC New Delhi has requested my Son's passport, which we submitted on September 20th. Both myself and my Wife are PRs in Canada and since the baby was born in India, we had to apply for his immigration.

Now, when can I expect to receive the passport back with visa stamped? Can I, in the mean time, apply for a Visitor's visa for my Son? What are the probabilities of getting a visitor's visa for my Son, given the fact that both his parents are PRs in Canada and the kid is the only reason why we are apart.

As per view,

Immigration officers do not take pictures in the first place from India. It means you cannot think that if they have called for an interview you can still show and explain pcitures.
So, you both need to be well prepared that you do not have different answers about personal stuff. Like how you met, how long you know each other, do your parents know about you or how long do they know? Very common question and important even Did your close relatives attend marriage and from both sides?
And I am sure they are going to put focus more on short term travel and above all very short term stay after marriage.
Where you had honeymoon? Questions like this as these are common questions they ask I think 99% people.

And there are many members in this forum who got rejected after interview. So please take this approval or rejection point for your case.
There is a separate thread for New Delhi interviews also, See that to get more specific information.

Hi there,

It seems that 99.99%, there will be no interview once the status is "in process" but need to know the odds of it happening out of curiosity........

1) Is there anybody who got interview after their status changed to "In Process" ?

2) If yes, please share your experience, situation (any complication with your case etc.) and timing (how long after status change) for interview.

Thanks in advance.

AP.
