yes it is possible only and only if you are a Canadian citizen, in case you are only a PR, you are supposed to stay inside Canada during whole processing time except short trips 2-3 weeks

Is this true someone from ND give visit to have a cross check or something else I heard it before but in case of second marriage or in suspected case it happens usually in American embassy but rare in canadian case but they can do it if they want but they do not give visit to applicant address but to neighbours always

Dnt wrry SMVI, the guy who owns the spreadsheet on this forum(Manorite) got his PPR after what 8 or 9 weeks but his process is almost done...

Dnt wrry NDVO dnt go by the PPR date, they go by the file transfer date..

So long story short if your case is strait forward you will get your final approval between 12 to 16 weeks of your file transfer date..

they didnt send in my case but i heard somewhere on this thread that VO came to their home for inspection and checked if they are living like a couple or not, if they have their clothes at same place and other things
they do that only if they have strong doubts about your relationship and genuineness of documents provided by you. if they think, you are lying and interview wont be enough to clarify their doubts then they take exceptional steps.
there are less than 0.001% chance for that, i heard only once about that. if you want to get more info, you can start a new thread for that

hey friends i need your help my wife who is applicant her passport is due for renew in feb 2013. if she get PPR should she send this current passport or she should renew before sending to ND VO. if she renew it do she need to put info as wife of so and so or daughter of so and so.. i just want second opinion on this. thanks

Hello Everyone,

After going through security Clarence with RCMP and all other formalities for over then a year, two months ago I was asked to submit new medicals and PCC as the previous one were expired. Now I have a question if someone can help?
How long it takes to get passport back with visa after submitting new medicals and PCC? I enquired through MP two weeks ago and CHC said that file is waiting for the review from visa officer who will check if background checks And medicals have been completed. But as per the reply I received from RCMP regarding security check it was completed in May and results were sent to CHC.
So can anyone tell me how long still I have to wait to get my passport back?
