Got my PPR today at noon!

I'm travelling...so planning to submit my passport at the final stage. Anyone else who has done this? How should i proceed?

congrats for PPR...u can email ND VO stating that u will be submitting PP at later stage....
but your processing will be bit delayed in that case

i have a small question on the PR card...

once we are given the PR card, are we allowed to travel to other countries kind of casual visit's, or for any education puposes...

yes you are but you need to get visa first because you will be travelling on Indian passport. there are some countries in south america, you can visit on Canadian PR card without visa

Share with us yr timeline..
Yr application sent date, AOR or approval date, n PPR date ...etc
N once u reach upto 10 posts..then u can add the timeline in yr profile...

US pr (green card) holders dont need visa for canada but you can not enter US without visa and there is an option to get 10 years visitor visa.

yes ......i got a phone call from ND VO for PPR on 13th aug 2012 after 3 months since file transffered to delhi.....my file was transffred to delhi on 9 may 2012...........is there any chance for interview or directly i got visa.......

application filed- 16 feb 2012
file transffred- 9 may 2012
went to "in process"- 3 August 2012 (it is written that they start processing on my application from 2nd aug 2012)
PPR- 13 Aug 2012
PP sent on 17 Aug nd recieved by ND VO on 18 Aug 2012.......

Already they inform me for ppr very late... almost after 3 months after my application got transffered to ND.....

Soon you will get yr VISA...dont worry..once they took long time for sending PPR...that does not mean that yr application will take more time...instead when PPR request come late, means that they have almost at the edge of decision n soon u will get yr PP with visa..All d best...n dont worry....
