My application was received by CIC-M on March 01, 2012. I too recently got sponsorship approval on June 25, 2012 by mail.
Ecas updated to "Medical Received". Waiting for passport request from New Delhi.

My spouse's passport was requested on August 6 and New delhi office received it on August9. Then, yesterday my husband got a call from CHC asking him some questions!! I have never heard of this kind of interview!! Has anyone here got call from CHC for telephonic interview?? I sponsored my spouse, he is in india right now but at the time of our wedding, my parents could not make to India. My husband explained it to them but she hung up. Now I am really scared, it too hard to live separate!! any suggestions friends?? please help me..

Thanks Guys, I hope so. But I don't think the visa's stamped yet. Aug 17th (letter dated Aug 13th) my husbad got a request to send a form that was "missing", he sent that on Aug 18th. I have a feeling our file will be pushed back because of that. So they may not complete the process for a weeks/ maybe months. Address still also is only India address. Waiting for the day to see Canadaian address!

Congratulations pjmin, you would get your stamped passport within a week .

Does the canadian address appear in e-cas, if so your done, they would have send your passport already.

Since its over 2 months they have your PP, I guess if Ecas show in process on 16th Aug, they might have stamped visa on your PP, and you will probably get it back very soon...

Congrats Manorite! It was very nice to read about your progress, but I still don't know how "call" works? what happens if the applicant miss such important call?
anyway, I really hope that you receive visa soon. Congrats once again!! +1 for you for your patience and all the hardwork you did for the forum.
