i got my wife's canadian address as current home address on ecas. i think it was last step from CHC-ND and i hope to receive my passport and COPR soon.

As per ur timelines u received ur PPR on 10th May, so i want to know dat have u submitted ur passport wid embassy after receiving PPR, secondly when u have received ur Interview letter, it was same on 10th may or after dat.

yes i received ppr on may 10 and sent passport on may18. they sent me interview invitation on june 15, after 35 days of PPR.

My application was received by CIC-M on March 01, 2012. I too recently got sponsorship approval on June 25, 2012 by mail.
Ecas updated to "Medical Received". Waiting for passport request from New Delhi.

Manorite, I did the MP enquiry- Reply says that, my file is not assigned to an officer yet and background check is not done yet.

Is that why you do not have PPR yet? that your file hasn't been assigned to an officer yet?

How's it going? I was just checking out the spreadsheet and noticed that you still haven't recieved the PPR request. Any idea what's happening? That's a very Long time to wait. Have you made any inquiries? I hope you get the PPR soon and a DM soon after!

Its been a long time....I am not sure what's going on... I made a case specific inquiry, but no response yet... I also made a status inquiry through my MP and he got back saying that the file is waiting for an initial review....

This week is gone too.... I am running out of options here..... it has been 46 days since my file got transferred..... Just not sure what else to try...

That doesn't make sense.... When i inquired, my mp said that my file is waiting for initial review..... I don't know what's going on... why it has to be us..... It's so unpredictable..... Do you have lots of travel history? Just curious as they said background check not done yet..
