I need an advise on the below,

My lawyer called my wife yesterday and asked whether she has paid the Permanent Resident Fee i.e is 490$ because while sending the AOR mail to him, the CIC has asked us to pay that fees.

My wife had paid the fees while submitting the application to CPC-M totally it came to 1090$ ( not sure the exact amount)... now the lawyer is telling that is okay dont need to send any copy of it to CIC just leave it ..

But I feel since the CIC has asked to pay the PR fees , ideally we should send a copy of the receipt to confirm that we have already paid the fees with a covering letter..Am I right?

Am just wondering why the lawyer is telling like that...

Its been 20 days since we received our AOR and we didnt hear anything from CPC-ND...

any thoughts

has anyone experiences like my above situattion

congrATS HpPATEL

HOPE THEY WILL ISSUESOME MORE VISA

Thomas_saint - ND always ask for landing fees in ppr. The letter issued is standard. If you have paid then you may or maynot attached photocopy of reciept. They have everthing feeded in their system. So need not to worry.

hi Thomas,
i think you have done some mistakes in payment of fees. total fees is only $1040, i think you selected wrong option instead of " right of permanent resident fees". you need to check again and send your receipt to CIC, so they can correct, if there is any mistake.
best of luck :)

Hi Ashunandal,

I will check with my wife once again the exact amount she paid...

If the fees copy is not the problem, then why i didnt get the sponsorship approval or any kind of communication from CPC-ND? much worried...

Finally!!!!

Wait is over. I got DM on July 30,2012.

It Says:

We started processing your application on July 27, 2012.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

But i am little worried cause it didn't show my wife's address as my PR address. I hope i will get my PP back soon with shining visa.

Thanks a lot to all forum members for your kindness, support and love that you have saw us and i pray to god you all get your visa soon and meet your loved ones. :) :) :) :)

you sent your application before 70 days and got AOR, it sounds ok to me. in my case i got first reply from CIC after 100 days. ;)
just call CIC call center and ask them, what do they want exactly. you will get sponsorship approval soon. :)
best of luck :)

Guys what should be done, if no PPR request has been received after more than one month (35 days now). Look at cases before and after me and manorite, everybody have received PPR.

The sponsor would have to contact the MP. You can find out the MP of your area by entering your postal code in the following website:
http://www.parl.gc.ca/Parlinfo/Compilations/HouseOfCommons/MemberByPostalCode.aspx?Menu=HOC

Once you find your MP, then call the MP office and tell them that you would like to get a status update on the sponsorship application... and that you have not heard from ND visa office...
