one news from my side too i got my PP with shining visa & COPR letter today
& date of issuance of visa is 23rd of July

no words of my happiness thanks to GOD for giving these moments ;D ;D ;D

Well to be very honest.. its taking considerably longer then expected.. I will give this another 2-3 days!

The sponsor would have to contact the MP. You can find out the MP of your area by entering your postal code in the following website:
http://www.parl.gc.ca/Parlinfo/Compilations/HouseOfCommons/MemberByPostalCode.aspx?Menu=HOC

Once you find your MP, then call the MP office and tell them that you would like to get a status update on the sponsorship application... and that you have not heard from ND visa office...

Lalatata - dont worry. These days post office employees are busy with rakhi rush. So you can still wait till friday.

Yeah, I see what you mean! I just found out they actually don't work on Rakhi (its a national holiday ! ) so i guess no delivery on Thursday, this leaves tomorrow or Friday. We will see what needs to be done by Friday (either an email to the office or just ask MP to seek information) .. perhaps the rakhi rush and the power failures are not helping the postal services!

I hope your case makes some movement ahead shortly!

DM was made on last monday July 23. may be evening India time.

I received this from my local MP in Toronto. Can anyone tell me what this means and still how much longer before we get the PP?

"I am writing to advise that I have received a response from the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi regarding your wife’s application for permanent residency. They indicated that the file is currently in the final stages of processing. They expect the decision and passport to be mailed back to _____ shortly through registered post.

Wait is over. I got DM on July 30,2012.

It Says:

We started processing your application on July 27, 2012.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

But i am little worried cause it didn't show my wife's address as my PR address. I hope i will get my PP back soon with shining visa.

Looks like New Delhi VO is finally moving and giving out lot of DMS,APPROVALS AND PPR.

i guess the way the DM are going they go by the file transfer date(the date your file was transferred from canada to new delhi VO).

They dnt go by the PPR date, so any one who is waiting for PPR not to worry as they go by the file transfer date.

thats what i think...
