New Delhi - 2012 applicants

I reside in Toronto, Canada and I am sponsoring my wife, who resides in India to come to Canada under the Family Sponsorship class. I understand that my spouse (the applicant) will be filling out the Generic Application Form for Canada - IMM0008. In that form it asks a few questions that we are unsure about answering.

Question 4: Immigration Office requested for processing this application

Would she answer CPC - Mississauga here or would it be CPC - New Delhi?

Under Contact Information

Question 1: Current mailing address

Would she enter in my Canadian address here or would this be her address in India?

Question 3: Telephone no.

Would she enter in her telephone number or my telephone number?

Question 6: E-mail address

Would she enter in her e-mail address or my e-mail address?

Make sure her contact details are correct because after the file is transferred to New Delhi, all communication will be done with her (based on her contact details).

Thank you! So if I write "CPC - New Delhi" for Question 4, that would be good? Or just "New Delhi"? I hear that they are really fussy hence my lame question

Also, what would I write to her occupation? She is just sitting at home waiting for me to sponsor her

The two would be my wife and myself.

If not have u asked ur lawyer , Will the NDVO refer to the application form for the same ...

THanks for your wishes. Wife's visa came today 26-02-2013. It took more than a week since the status changed to DM.

Saag special thanks to you, for the excellent work and time spent for everyone of us.

How long did you waited before it said "DM" and when did you submit the application..?
Hope you can share with me.. As, I am sponsoring my wife and still says in process since December 17, 2012, nothing changed so far.. Sad

from what I've read off other people who got their passport back it takes about 10 days to 2 weeks...

Btw... whats GCSM notes? & as per your experience did contacting the MP help?

Hi Zen,
GCMS are your case notes (notes the case officer enters into the system I think), Canadian residents or citizens (Sponsors) can request this on behalf of the Principal Applicant. Takes around one month to get this by mail, from date of request. I dont have the URL handy right now...
And, no I didnt contact a MP... that would have been my next step if we hadn't got a DM ...
Now waiting for the passport to comeback with the visa

Hey they wanted my hubbys first wedding divorce certificate on Oct 15 via email they again requested for the same on Dec 3 rd on the phone coz the one I submitted earlier was not valid.

Same here, They have requested my divorce documents right after my wife interview with NDVO back in July-2012.
We have send them a documents right after an interview in August-2012..
Still my file under process from Sept-2012
No decision made, contacted the local MP's and they advise me your file is under investigation..

Hey Angel... Yes I did send a covering letter with my Indian address... The lawyer said that should suffice...

I'm guessing that that should be fine too.. Worst comes to worse they will send you an email asking for the return address...
