Hi All,
My husband just checked eCas and it shows decision made. Says we started reviewing your application on Feb 22, 2013 and a decision has been made and the applicant will be contacted !!!
I'm so excited and happy !

BTW, how long does it take the office to contact the applicant and from there how long to get the passport in hand ... ??
Please advise ...

Thank soooo much to everyone on the forum !! Coming to this forum and reading posts was very helpful ... that is how I got to know about applying for GCSM notes and the option of contacting a MP etc....

Hello everyone,

I just checked my husbands ecas and it states DM.

This is exactly what is states "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." What does this exactly mean?

hai everyone if pls anybody tell us 'how much gold we can wear while we travel to canada ,newly married bride '??

Anyone coming for first time (immigrating) can bring in any amount of gold without any customs.. Also u can give the custom guys a list of stuff which u need to bring duty free next time...
So for first time its duty free and anything u mention u left in India and u intend to bring to Canada is duty free!!! as per my knowledge...

Congrats Yaar..Hope they start doing the same for all of October applications whose files reached New Delhi Office in Nov,2012..

I reside in Toronto, Canada and I am sponsoring my wife, who resides in India to come to Canada under the Family Sponsorship class. I understand that my spouse (the applicant) will be filling out the Generic Application Form for Canada - IMM0008. In that form it asks a few questions that we are unsure about answering.

Question 4: Immigration Office requested for processing this application

Would she answer CPC - Mississauga here or would it be CPC - New Delhi?

Under Contact Information

Question 1: Current mailing address

Would she enter in my Canadian address here or would this be her address in India?

Question 3: Telephone no.

Would she enter in her telephone number or my telephone number?

Question 6: E-mail address

Would she enter in her e-mail address or my e-mail address?
