Omg! That's a crazy long time!
NDVO is very unpredictable! was your case straight forward? What's your time line like so far?
The waits hard... But I guess all we have to do is hope...

I am indian citizen but stayed in UK for 7 years so they wanted PCC and our crazy lawyer did not advise the correct agency in UK to get PCC from so I got from a different place which I knew and they sent my passport with a new pcc request on 4 jan 2013 and we sent all docs back by 18th jan 2013...and now been more than a month and still waiting

Your PPR request took a while coming in... The problem is that none of us really know the criteria with which they process applicants... Why some people get their visa in 5 months Vs others who take 9! Just have faith.. It shouldn't be much longer... And you're not in this alone.. We are all waiting for the same news...

Well my passport was requested back in sep and I had interview in nov and my visa is approved they said and imagine while we were waiting for pp with visa we got it with a pcc request...huh..super irritated with NDVO and I really think it can make a person big time moaner phewww

But strange , during ur interview didn't they notice that they need a fresh PCC ...

I can imagine how u must be feeling , when u r expecting ur PP back with visa ,,, n what u get is an additional document request ...

Now I'm expecting my pp with visa soonest as in anyday...I have contacted MP to ask about my status as they don't entertain at all on phone. But I don't understand like the processing time on their website. Does it mean 10 months at ndvo starting from when file reached india or from the date we applied in canada?
What additional documents we receive?

From the day file is transferred to ND ...

But it is hard to really judge the way it works at their end ... Like some applicants files r getting processed within less then six months , n some r waiting for more then a year like me ...

All u can do is to wait ...

No clue ,, I have had my interview already , at the time of the interview they requested for additional documents , which were sent in Sept .... Had to get my re medicals in early Feb 2013 ... Now still waiting ..

And it's not only me , who is waiting for so long ,,, there r few more ..

I had also got my Pcc from UK ... After listening to u , I'm worried ..

From where have u got it done for the second time n earlier one as well ..

Yeah hope so...now actually I'm feeling UK was a better option lol..
The correct agency to get PCC from UK is APRO something and it says on top for visa purposes..did u get it done frm the same?
