ecas is still down for me..But they replied to my mail to CIC. There reply is as below:

Dear Client,

Thank you for your patience.

The issue that you mentioned in your email is indeed the result of a periodic technical problem.

This means that you may still be able to access our e-Client Application Status (e-CAS) online service prior to a resolution.

We are currently looking into the issue and hope to have it resolved shortly.

Please try again later.

Its a log maintained by the CIC officers when they process our files. Since we cannot call them to enquire about our status of our application, we can place an order for GCMS notes. I think it should be through your sponsor in Canada. They may charge you according the notes type. If you want basic note they will charge u $5 and it can go upto $25.

There is are details in this thread. I think in the past 2 months we had discussed about the way to get GCMS notes.

Guys correct me if I an wrong.

He's on a Work Permit right now...

If he is on work permit then he could have easily apply for an Open Work Permit for you. It would have come within a month. Then, later when he would have applied for PR from within Canada, he could have applied for you too in an inland PR application while both of you remain in Canada. Just wondering why he didn't consider that option. That was probably the fastest way.

Hello everyone,

My online status still says 'Application received' but they've added the Canadian address besides my mailing address in India.
As far as I know the address changes after 'Decision Made'.. right?
Has this happened to anyone before? And how long will it take before they send back my PP?
