hi guys , First of all congrats to people who got visas recently. I have one question that is how long it takes to get visa after the remedical request given by them. Its been 15 days already since she submitted her pp. Actually this is my sis case , she had an interview and aftr interview the IO told her that her medical is expired otherwise i would have issued u a visa today. so she gave her partial medical that is only chest xray to do and again submit the pp with med form to chandigarh. so if anybody in same situation who got visa can help,it will be really appreciated.

Question for the Oct/Nov/Dec applicants who haven't received a PPR yet:

I'm the sponsor and can log into eCas with my client ID, but since no PPR or AOR has been issued, I can't login to my wife's (applicant's) account because I don't have a client ID number. Is there another way in? I tried with the receipt number, but no luck.

If they actually are waiting a lot longer to give out the PPR, they should at least send out an AOR now.

Hey bachansoo,

If you have not received AOR or PPR from the office then call the CIC toll free number and ask them about the file number for your wife as your file is already transferred to New Delhi.

They should be able to give you the file number. Just ask them politely.

When does your file got transferred to New Delhi ?? When did you file for sponsorship ??

Regards,

Paul

Don't worry. If they need a new medical test they will let you know. Otherwise, they might just extend the validity by a procedure they have that says the VO can extend validity of medical if that's the only thing holding up the visa issuance. Check out this forum for links about that.

It might be better to ask them at the end of the interview, if the medical issue doesn't come up. tell them that the medical expired and ask them if any action has to be taken on your part or whether they will let you know later.

Thanks, I'll do a search. Just got off the phone with my husband, he is now at the border waiting for it to open so he can get on the train to Delhi. Getting so nervous now...

I told him to ask about the medical at the end if they don't say anything. We are now just 2 weeks short of 1 year of having applied, we have given all the information and proof we can, so I think we are near to the end.

Thanks for the response. I'll call them on Monday since the office is now closed (past 4pm here in Vancouver).

I filed on November 5 and the file was transferred on December 21. I'm a few spots below you on the spreadsheet.
