I dont think so that it is mandatory but I changed my name and relationship on passport, hence got the new reissued passport.
If you do change your relationship status on passport , make sure you send both the passport to CHC ND.

Before taking any steps , just consult to someone.

just want to update you guys that my wife got her PPR on july5th, letter was dated June 27th.

3 things required.
1.) fees - already paid.
2.) PCC- getting a new one as the old one with original app is now expired.
3.) Passport.

Let see what the next step is.

Sorry, I don't know. Somene who lives in India will probably be better at answering this question. My husband lives in Jalandhar, so I think he just found it or was close to him. If it's like FedEx system over here, they should give you a tracking number when you give them the package to mail on the receipt?

Congrats !! You applied in March, so how come your police clearance expired?

Police clearance was done in Jan and is valid for 6 months.

so just to be on safer side, we are sending the new PCC along the PP.

Do you have a expiry on the police clearance? Is it a Indian police clearance or another country?

It is an indian PCC and yes it is only valid for 6months.

Dont have to do anything. jus leave your passport as is...
