New Delhi - 2012 applicants

My wifes passport was submitted in march, and still no response from them. Been so long....

I would recommend that order caips notes and also send an inquiry through your sponsor's MP....

My wife's application is "In Process" since June 1 (see timeline on the left). She sent her PP in May.
Has anybody here contacted their MP? I want to contact mine and may be get them to dig out some info.
Does anybody have a template or a format of letter/email to write to the MP?

I've contacted my MP to get an update on my husband's application. I called him directly and we scheduled an appointment to discuss the matter. He first called CIC directly on a private line for MPs then sent an email directly to New Delhi. I got a response from them the next day. Still not moving as fast as I would like it but it's now "In Process" since that email. They have my husband's passport since February.

I believe CIC-M updates that Medical Received info as we send the medicals along with our application.
At this point New delhi doesn't even have our file yet. Hopefully it will be transferred soon

i am new to this forum,, i am also march applicant and same like you my ecas also shows medical results have been received,, so i wana say here that as you said you think CIC-M updates this medical received info
as i concern we sent only a copy of our medical done along with application if i am not wrong medical results have been sent by medical practioner to ND. so pls discuss as we all are in same boat

Mine showed same medical received on the same day. Primary applicant will get PPR. It can either way email or mail. Mine was through email.

Hello. I sent my passport through blue dart courier service and I think it's the safest way.
The letter I received from Delhi asking for my passport, it says u can't submit passports by hand.

Hi punjabi Kudi,

CIC-M updates the medical result on the file because we send a copy of it along with our application. It doesn't mean that you have passed the medicals.
You are right that medical practioner send the results to ND. Once the file gets transferred to ND, then the results gets verified and our file gets updated with medical passed. Apparently, we don't get to see this update on Ecas. I think in the past lot of people have ordered caips notes, and one of the things in it says is medical passed.
