no , actually i got travel history for 4 and a half years . i think dats the main reason in my case. every case is different ... it depends on case officer .. i think u will get DM SOON ...

My spouse got intensive travel history of almost 7 to 8 years, both work wise and otherwise. Holds 4 passports with almost all pages filled, stamped:-( Is your travel history intensive too in that 4 and half years???

May be ND was waiting for the new announcement ... I believe from tomorrow there should some improvement in processing of files...

Hi
I just registered here yesterday. Want to include my details to the thread to see when I can get PPR.
Here is the details for my application.

Sponsership application sent to Miss: 5th July 2012
File reviewed and Transfered: 19th Sep 2012
Medical completed: 05th May 2012
Current status update: Medical received
Waiting for Passport request from New Delhi:
Waiting for Visa.

I am not sure why the processing time in ND had gone up from 6 to 9 months since I first started this process.
Help me to understand how long will it take them to contact me for PPR.
I hope my wife can join me for the family day in Feb 2013.

One question, PPR will be sent to my mail Id or a letter to my spouse address in India

Hello Sduggs,

Did you mean most of the applicants who sent additional documents got approved
within 2 months since they sent additional docs.

Thanks,
Godhelp

Hi Godhelp,

No, I meant the ones that did not require additional documents got approved within 2 months. The ones that got a query for additional documents, I do not have a understanding how much time for approval. It has already been more than 2 months since I sent additional documents, but no reply from ND. Also no reply to my query for application status.
Thanks,

Saunjay

Thanks Saunjay for the reply. Really unfair and a Luck based Process.
I was also asked to send additional photos, but did not have post marriage photos,
because I was in India only for 4 days after marriage.
Dont know by just not having post marriage photos what will
the idiots sitting there think, that the marriage is not genuine. Really
ridiculous.

Thanks,
Godhelp

hi guys!!!

My wife is the applicant in our case. File Received 1 june

file transfered to NDVO

Passport requested 27 august

passport submitted 1 september

Till then no news. ECAS status showing application recv'd and medicals also recv'd

My question is. My wife is a dentist who has a Dental equvilancy exam on 1 feb. Considering the delays that are going around, is it possible to apply for her tourist visa so that she can come and give exam? will they allow it? has anyone been in similar situation or heard of it? Please advice.

thanks a lot.

Dear Roach,

The applicant receives PPR through email within 10-15 days of file transfer to NDVO. Some of our forum members recd PPR via phone and some recd d letter late, whatever it is they will contact for stamping the Visa once they have decided on your case. Dont you worry about it you will hear from them soon. I too hope that our case should be done before the year ends :)

I am also an July applicant. I got the PPR so I sent the Passport immediately.

Regards
Chitra Ajay
