Thanks SBDelhi & i pray that u get ur visa before the end of this month so best of luck 4 next week

I called his office a while back to book an appointment, I did get the appointment but I didn't have my wife's UCI# at the time so I cancelled. I talked with his secretary. Easy to get reply on phone. What are you mailing him for.

Hello everyone

I just realized there is an small mistake in one of my spouse "SCHEDULE A BACKGROUND" form, instead of writing Last Name for mother at birth, my spouse wrote her mother's Last Name which she obtained after married not at birth. ???
I want to like to send a letter to CIC-Delhi to correct this mistake. Should I send the whole form again or just the page with the correction? Also should i wait for PPR and then send it or should i send it as soon as possible?

Please help!
Thank You

Hi O- Zone... Have you received PPR from delhi yet...? any updates on ecas either?

Nope. Still in the line. But looking at the times for people who did receive PPR, it seems ND VO is kind of inconsistent in its approach, some don't get PPR for 30-45 days and then they get a DM in the next 45-60 days. Some get PPR in 10-15 days and the DM takes longer. So it's all around the average time-frame. Don't worry too much about PPR. If it doesn't come by the first week of August, then maybe you can send a case-specific enquiry. If ND VO thinks of you as someone who sends enquiries too frequently, they won't respond. So save the formal enquiries for special circumstances.

Good luck. Hopefully it's all done sooner rather than later for all of us. I can't wait to be with my wife!

I would do 2 things, Call CPC Mississauga, ask them what you should do and thn wait until you get PPR and send the for m with PP as at that time you will have UCI no for your spouse.
I hope this helps...

Pinder123 - i dont think that they will reply you query abt pp reciept. Just keep your courier reciept and its pod with you till you get back your pp with shining visa on it

oh no I don't want them to reply my query but I will have a proof that yes my PP has been send and its in ND offlice.... Just in case.....
That was the suggestion given to my hubby by the courier office......
So, i am gonna email the receipt to them and I don't expect them to reply me.....

i am sorry to say but ..... that is completely unnecessary .... its like sending an email and then sending another email confirming the receipt of first email .....
u have the courier receipt ...keep it .... and if u track the number, the website will say that they stamp the courier thingy confirming that they got it .... its their responsibility now ..... and yes, i know that the passport get lost and stuff like that ...but thats just your "naseeb" ..u know .... if they have already lost ur passport..... the receipt isn't gonna do anything ....

chill ;D

SBDELHI. Sorry but you are wrong..

Its since we submit to Mississauga. This only applies to Spouse and Children cat under Family category.

Sponsored Spouses, Partners, and Children

Processing times for these applications are calculated from the date on which the application is accepted by Case Processing Centre - Mississauga.

Other Members of the Family Class

Processing times for these applications are calculated from the date the application is received by the New Delhi visa office.

http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/family_class-regroupement_familial.aspx?lang=eng&view=d

Actually you are both right if you look at the CIC website, it says that Mississauga takes 91 days to get Spousal sponsorship approved, then 8 months for Delhi to approved PR. And if you look on CIC India, it's 6 months only fr PR.

Thanks In Can

I called CIC-Mississauga and they told me to just write a letter explaining the correction and if they do require the forms, then they will ask for it.

Forget about time frame guyz...talk about CIC-M and CIC-D mood and people they have working there..

Also it depends on the individual case if they require further docs or interview or PCC or medical or whatever...

the last action i saw from DELHI VO was PPR to someone in mid june..i saw some people who got there DM that applied in January.

and people like (sorry to put you on the spot) sb delhi who applied last year are still waiting...

i really dnt understand what format they follow but if they dnt they should have one CHECKLIST just like us to follow....
