Can u plz tell me after how many days ND will shim DM because my address changes today so that I can plan something for my travelling

Hi Balkan,

I am also in the same boat waiting to get passport. Hopefully, we get passports by Monday or Tuesday next week.. If you are plannning for travelling, I would plan something for the week of Sep 24..... Depends on were you live, the passports might take some time.

My question to everybody who sent their passports to ND VO- I was wondering if it is important to send a cover letter along with the passport and documents andif so..what should I write ?? I'm absolutely clueless. Besides, I'm over 30 days late already as I had been travelling :-(. Please help!

you need to send the PPR request letter with PP and also send cover letter just to mention what docs u r sending with cover letter. They might have asked u for PCC and fee receipt. Which you might have sent earlier. This fact you can mention in cover letter. Its not necessary to send cover letter.

Yes Mandeep2012....When the sponsored person file is transferred to New Delhi, the address is showing as Canadian address. After few days it changes to Indian mailing address....It stays the same until you get Decision made....When you get DM it shows both Canadian & Indian address.

please tell me how important is the expired passport? I sent mine for renewal and did not get the expired one back.. so I sent only the present PP. anybody who knows what can happen?

When I got PPR it was written that u need to send ur original pp with any expired pp if any

There is change on my wife's ecas,current address has been added but it is only city name and province though not full address......hope we all hear something postive on this weekend or early next week.

QUCK QUESTION PEOPLE
I got DM on 7th September 2012. Does anyone know how long it takes to reach the passport from New Delhi because my wife lives in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh? Today will be almost 5 days excluding the weekends.. Im not sure if ND use the local Post or BlueDart.
CAN ANY ONE HELP ME..

How can anyone submitted the expired passport..!!! cumon guys dont u knw it should be valid and for atleast min 6 moths ... before issuance of visa
