Guys I dont know if it makes any difference or not but I just send a msg to Prime Minister Mr.Harper via his website. Asking him to take some action towards this Strike.. We have heard all the news on how much the backlog is but we did not hear what Mr.Harper is doing about it.

Don't think it make much of a difference to him but we can all try... Here is a link to the form if you all want to send too

Can someone please please please help me with this. My husband will be getting interviewed soon, but i dont know when due to the strike. Please share your insights on this. When they ask full deatils on education, work, address history, does my husband need to remember all the school I attened and the month also along with the years. Same goes for my work and addresses, or are the most recent one fine? This is becoming very stressful for us to think we need him to remember all the months and years. PLEASEEEEEE SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS :(

Yes you should remember everything about your spouse their families-parents, siblings.
You should take anything and everything with you to prove you are telling the truth...eg relationship proof, education and work experience, also try to be consistent with the answers you submitted in the application. If you know the red flags in your file and why you are being called for an interview then you should provide all past and on going relationship proof.
Hope this helps...:)

Thank u for your reply. I am so stressed abt this. There's soo many dates to remember. My red flags are that we have a 6 year age differences (I am older (29) then my husband (23)) we had an eloped wedding. With none of my family memebers there. His side was only his sis and few cousins. And to top it all off, my mom emailed jason kenney saying he's a fraud and using me to come to canada :( she refused to give us a chance. My mom's email address was on my GCMS notes. I went to my MP whom told me they are calling him for an interview cuz they recieved the email, but they arent letting the email affect my application. I put everything in my file, including my mom;s emails and texts proving she didnt approve of us getting married :(

I can suggest something here:
Does your mom approve the marriage NOW?If yes you should probably take a letter signed from her to prove she is fine now etc...some pics of you both with family showing that everything is fine...any e-mail communications etc with you mom, family and husband...

I am just giving suggestions but you know your case best just try to put your case confidently...because the interview will be your only chance to get it approved...I really hope you pass the interview with flying colors good luck :)

1) call from NDVO at 11:56 - Richard on line. He asked whether I can travel by 10th of Aug. I said yes.... he then said whether I can personally come & pick up my passport from the office. I was confused, didn't know what to answer. I asked when do I have to come for that. He said that he would call up after half an hour and confirm.

2) call from NDVO at 12:17 - Richard again. He said " Madam ur visa is issued". I lost my breath that moment. He then said what would be my convenient date to come to new delhi. I said around 18 or 19th. He said 18th would be fine. Then he said how much time it would take if he sends the passport through speed post to my address at Kolkata. I said at most 2 days. He said then he would send the passport through speed post at that would reach faster than me going to delhi on 18th. He then read out my address and asked me to confirm it. I did and thanked Richard.

So friends..... I am tooooooo happy today..... just cant imagine how things have gone for the last 5 days.... I thank u all friends..... I am ever thankful to God and I sincerely wish that everyone will get through very soon.....
