Received the request for Medicals and RPRF today. FINALLY!!!

My application was submitted on: 18th Jan 2013.

Timeline please - i.e. date your application was received and ate you received your AOR - this would help us "try" to understand what CIC (also known as the Huge Black Void) is up to these days...

Sure. My application was received by CIC on 18th Jan 2013. Got the AOR on 26th Feb 2013. Got RPRF and MRs on 19th Nov 2013.

Then today, I got RPRF and bio data request!!!!!
OMG! So happy.
Someone please update my tracker and correct it from

I was so pissed off at my disrespectful and deceiving manager yesterday, and now I can finally breathe.

So.... this means if nothing's wrong with MR, I'm pretty much on the safe side right???????????????

This being said, the latest MRs/RPRFs etc...seem to follow the date at which AORs have been received, which suggest they are actually (at least for the January section) working on a "first come - first served" basis...

At least, we can keep dreaming that this is indeed the case

I think the timeline is PRETTY darn accurate now. (October was a mess)

One thing was that after I paid for RPRF, e-mail said it will give me pdf receipt, but it didn't. So, I just captured the screen and made it as pdf file and sent it. I hope that's ok. yikes!
What a relief. I made MR appointment without MR anyways for next week since I MUST get an approval from my manager for my day off on the day I want.

I think the updated reference letter from company and ALL paystubs, NOA, T4 helped move my application.

omg...My application was received on jan 15..and got Aor on Feb 21....looks like I am the only one who didn't receive any kind of request during this timeframe ( mid jan applicant) :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( eevryone else got MR..I don't understand this...people who have applied after me.got MR..some ppr and some even Pr..not fair.....feeling very low...I will appriciate any kinda update from them, does not matter +ve or -ve.....have to move on...this wait is the most painful thing in my life

Have your requested the GCMS note on your app? If haven't, order it as quickly as possible as it will give you the some info about where your app stands now.

If you had provided right reference letter, you'll definitely get rprf and MR before this month end.

Congrats Caribou and blackops! Hopefully MR's for rest of us are around the corner. But I am a bit freaked out since yesterday when they requested RCMP check for my wife even though I had send it to them in advance and it seems to be added to my file from the GCMS notes. I have not got any reply from the CIC after my lawyer sent an email stating the above. I am kind of thinking on one side that it is good that I got some correspondence as it means my file is being processed and on the other side am worried if they lost my wife´s RCMP record and this might delay the process and take me into oblivion.

Sorry if it sounds a bit like cribbing but just if some one can tell me this happened to any one and they came out ok without any issues even though each case is a bit unique. Please if some one had similar experience just let me know.
