Send them by emails. copies of reference letters are accepted if you check the document lists. As someone told you above, it is very important for you to act quickly at this moment. Otherwise you may end up getting rejected as they seem to have already worked on early Jan apps. I am not trying to scare you. Email a scanned copy and mail the original one if your lawyer really wants to sent the hard copy. I sent my NOA 2012 by emails. AFter a few days, they confirmed me that they got them.
Thanks, she sent me e-mail saying that some documents needs to be sent e-mail and by mail as well(original), I drew up cover letter for them already, so when she ok's my pdf files,
I'll send them out tonight after work. I'm also gonna let her send original too if that makes her feel secure as well. It says "originals may be requested later by officer"
Thanks all for help, otherwise I would've lost hope.

Is it okay to ask OttPilot-Immigration if they have received my medicals and when my application will be finalized?

I'm in a tight situation now - my employer just hinted me that I might get a nice Christmas present: repatriate to home country office or leave the organization. My current work permit is also expiring early next year. I have applied for BOWP, but as everyone knows PR is the only salvation for a permanent job (or any job offer). I certainly don't want to risk my current job without having a offer at hand.

Having just added my spouse to the application, I had never thought I would get RPRF and MR so fast. I really hope that I (and all Jan applicants) will get PPR soon.

Thanks.

If you've applied for BOWP then I'd wait it out until your employer lays you off - then go onto EI while you look for another job. Your employer cannot force you out of the country.
Besides getting this far in the process plus the BOWP shouldn't be a barrier to finding permanent work

Thanks LPC :) I really hope that I will be able to find a new job before end of the year.

I wish you a speedy processing!

Any ppr / decision made in the last couple of weeks?

Bramble84 - I guess you'll get CoPR directly in mail. Anagram from dec got CoPR after decision was made. S/he is from visa exempt country.

Folks,

I need you guys help. I am recently rejected for FSW under Phd stream. I want to apply under CEC now. Actually, it is the only option for me now.

I started my postdoctoral fellow job from December 1, 2012. But I did not get any pay until Jan 2013. Should I assume that my working experience started from dec 2013 or Jan 2013? Because I need to provide pay stub for CEC application.

2nd question: my IELTS will be expired in Dec 3, 2103 (will be two years old on that date). If it is ok for me to start my working experience from Dec 1, 2012, so can I still use my IELTS results (two days to be expired)......

Thanks a lot.

This is a thread for January 2013 applicants - please start a new topic so we can keep this one focused on jan people. Thanks

Thanks Eds, I have been wondering about the next step.

I keep hoping its waiting for me in my mailbox after I return home from work.

The waiting game continues...
