Agree with jsm0085.
CIC may not call for NOA at all. The VO will go ahead and decide with whatever papers on your file. You run a risk.

rinel,

If your NOC is 6322, your job is skill level B. Unfortunately, you need to have minimum 5 for listening, writing, and speaking and minimum 4 for reading in IELTS.
You need to take the test again.

This is for January 2013 applicants where they share information. I recommend you open up a new posting if you want to get more attention.

Jan 2013 applicants, pls keep an eye on your application ecas status and update the spreadsheet as it turns 'In process'. Unlike many applicants in March & April, we have had only one applicant 'waiting84' reporting change in status.

Mine still says "application received" but they took off my rejected application results off the e-cas from previous years. So, I guess it's a good sign that they at least updated "some part" of it.

Nice to see you seniors in this thread.

I started working in Canada May 2012 and currently I'm preparing to apply under CEC.
I know from CIC website (Guide 5609) that
"I must have obtained at least 12 months of full-time (30 hours of paid work per week) or the equivalent in part-time".

I usually work 40 hours per week. However, my office had been closing last winter for 3 weeks.

Anybody please give me advice, can I become an eligible applicant in May 2013 or should I wait more 3 weeks in order to apply under CEC?
I would appreciate for you.

@oba3: In my opinion you should wait till you have over 12 months of FTE. VO's are very strict on this requirement as this is the basis for the new CEC rule came into effect starting Jan 2013. Also remember that FTE requirement is for 12 months with minimum 30 hrs/week. So no matter you have 11 months and 1 week of 40 hrs/week but then you didn't work for 1 month or worked part time, you won't meet the 12 months FTE. Good Luck with your application !

Was it paid vacation time?

As all you can see, this is for January 2013 applicants.
You will get more help by opening up a new posting. Please and thank you.

With due respect to everyone, please avoid posting or answering generic questions on this thread. Jan 2013 have a long way to go and let us limit this thread only to Jan 2013 applications.

Thank you aquareo and jsm0085 for your kind response.

Jan 2013 applicants,
Going by the current timelines, we should MRs flowing in July/Aug. Anything earlier is a big bonus. In the meanwhile, any of you who have done medicals in advance or find status change in ecas > please update the tracker.

Thanks Andy for the update!

July August would be a good time if we get our MR.

Guys do you have opinion on Advance Medical? Is it advisable??

Personally I definitely do not recommend Medicals in advance considering the risks attached and also with emedicals in place.
