I have heard rumours that it is possible to go for the medical before it has been requested by CPP-O to speed up the application process. Does anyone have any information on this? Thanks.

I have recd AoR yesterday. Could someone pl. update the tracker?
Thanks guys and all the best!

Congrats to those who have received their AORs so far and good luck to those of us who haven't received one yet:)

I am a late January applicant.
I have a quick question. Let's say your application is returned, in that case, will the money (for those who paid online) be refunded to your CC?

When mine was returned (because of a missing document), CIC didn't get my payment. They returned everything including the payment. Hope this answers your question.

But if the application has been processed and found ineligible because you did not satisfy the Visa Officer then I believe that is no longer refundable.

Hi Andy, senior friends,

On the same line, I have sent earlier Tax return Notice of assessments along with application. Now since I have received 2012 Tax assessment doc, do I need to send it to CPP-O? Is it good idea to send the same? If so, how can I send it?

Yes. Your Credit Card will be credited with the refund if you made payment online.

Hello Guys,

I have some questions. I worked as a Food Service Supervisor (new NOC Code: 6311) here in Alberta.
I am just wondering If I am exempted from a four-year 'cumulative duration limit'. As per CIC, there are only 2 NOC that are exempted from this cumulative duration regulation, the NOC 0 and NOC A. I am also confused If the food service supervisor position belongs to NOC 0 or NOC B???
Then my last question is, Do I really have to wait for 3 years under this position before I can apply for CEC? because in CIC under CEC category it says that, "Have atleast 12 months of full-time skilled work experience in Canada IN THE THREEE YEARS before you apply".

Please enlighten me guys.

Thanks.

Hi netblizz!

I am also working as a food service supervisor and applied under CEC..
NOC 6311 is skill level B and not among the exempted in the four-year cumulative temporary worker allowable stay in canada which took effect last april 1, 2011. Meaning, if you were here since the above-mentioned date, the latest work permit deadline you could get is up to april 15, 2015. As mandated, you would have to go back to your home country (unless you became a PR) and apply to come back to canada after 4 years.

No,you don't need 3 years experience.. One year will make you eligible in the last 3 years prior to applying under CEC.

Good luck to you!
