Jan applicants are getting the whole process complete within 10 months. That is nice. is it possible to check the current trend? For applicants who applied on July , aug & so on?

I think this buddy is wrong, if that would be the case then we should had seen a lot more of MR's by now. One week for September to end and only 3-4 guys had received.

I wanted my PR to be my Christmas gift at least, but seems is gonna be until Feb. when we get them. :'( :'( :'( :'(

10 months is out the window.. I know many people who applied in Nov and Dec 2012 and never heard a thing from CIC so far (except for the AOR of course).

I've requested a second set of GCMS notes.. Last time I saw my notes (from August), only criminality was in progress.

Based on the trend so far, I see bulk of Jan applicants getting MR only mid or late October.

I've requested a second set of GCMS notes.. Last time I saw my notes (from August), only criminality was in progress.

Based on the trend so far, I see bulk of Jan applicants getting MR only mid or late October.

Guys, I said as I saw a few people from Jan receiving PPR and they waiting for the return of their passport in a week or so. If so, then it should be 10 months, right? My calculation is based on the posts posted here, nothing else!

I disagree - only a couple of people from jan (waiting84 and one other I believe) are that far/complete process. They are the exception.

Please can you not make sweeping statements like this - you are not a January applicant and as you can see, making comments like this, well people jump on them as we're nervous.

Security : Not Started
Criminality : In Progress

I noticed one thing in notes. I applied for me ,my wife and kid. Some of updates under my wife name is blank. like under security ,criminality. Does anyone know why it shows blank or anyone seen similar issue in your respective notes?

I applied for gcms on 3rd September. I didn't get it yet ..

As for your wife, may be some items are not applicable.

I ordered my GCMS notes on 2nd of September & havent received my notes yet. Yours I guess was quick, less than 30 working days...

Another day has passed with no MRs for Jan applicants. I saw couple of updates in Nov and Dec - some RPRF and PPR.

I don't know what is the state of things at CPP-O.

Please post any updates that you get.

Folks, Jan 2013 applicants are still to see any real action but the thread is already hitting the 100 page mark. Really see no point in posting irrelevant matters on this thread. It will really become difficult for us to go back, search and track the core issues of Jan applicants on this thread in the days to come. I am sure that the participants will be more than happy to answer generic queries provided the info seekers search / open a new and meaningful thread relating to their query.

Please avoid using this thread for generic discussion. Request all participants not to POST or RESPOND to any irrelevant and generic questions posted on this thread.

Each time i saw our thread on the top of the forum discussion, i felt excited that something like MR has started going for jan app But No, what i have seen lately has been more about generic questions. So please dont make us feel excited for nothing Especially these days when we most expect.
If you have any generic questions, it is better to create a new thread like Andy said. That way, you will have more chances to get answers relating to queries.

Hi, I did not discover this forum until recently. My fiancee submitted his CEC in January 2013, and there's an email notification on his application being accepted with the application number and UCI number.

Can I ask a dumb question what GCMS notes are?

GCMS notes in simple words is an explanation of what has happened, going on, and is not started with regard to the processing of your file..
from GCMS, you can find out whether you already passed the eligibility criteria, security, criminality etc...
its free to order. but you will receive it after a month...

make sure you select privacy act when filling out the form cuz its free.
The information act will charge $5
