I really hope I get one soon enough....

We are the last two, hopefully it comes sooooon!

Just got my AOR! Happy friday!
Could someone update the track list? Thanks in advance.

At last, I was able to take my Manager into confidence and get a new Reference letter issued with detailed duties and responsibilities. Mailed it to CPP Ottawa.
No known loopholes in the application anymore. Such a big relief. :)

Andy, did you get the reference letter from your manager or HR?

I just noticed payment taken on March 8; guessing I should expect an AOR or rejection by end of next week?

I work for a big IT company as Senior Consultant. HR had first given me a Salary letter with position title, employment dates and annual salary on letterhead signed by HR Manager. HR refused to detail my duties and responsibilities. I escalated it to the highest level. It was referred to Legal Dept but even they turned it down saying they were under no obligation to issue such letters with D&Rs.

Finally I was able to convince my Manager over a cup of coffee on Women's Day ;)

BTW,

Happy Women's Day to all the women folks on the forum. Thank you for making this world a better place to live.

Congrats Andy, the letter with the duties and responsibilities is the most important factor!!!
I am hoping mine is enough detailed.

Congrats, Jun-San. I yet to hear from them:( I have a few concerns on my application so I'm really nervous.

Andy, I'm so happy to heat that your manager agrees to write a letter for you:) I know it's harder if you work for a larger company.

@ reth

When was your application received at CIO?

Hello every one

I have applied for Canadian immigration under CEC in Jan 2013. I received my AOR on 5th Mar 2013. In my job reference letter employer just copied all the duties from NOC website. What should I do to void any problem due to this?

Maun,

Your application is into rough waters for sure. We have had couple of instances reported in this forum. The ones who tried copying the exact duties from NOC, have their applications rejected without any room for explanation.

The only thing that you do can do now. Get a new Reference letter from your employer with duties and responsibilities listed in your (employer's) own words in line with your NOC code. Submit to CIC quoting your AOR and request them to discard/ ignore the earlier letter submitted and consider the new one.

Hi All,

Applied under CEC from India

Application recieved on Feb 05 2013

CC Charged on Mar 7 2013

What does this mean ? Should I be rest assured that my application was all complete and correct

Kindly advice when can I expect further details from Immigration Canada

Note: I did not had any Reference letter when I applied, I have provided all the other documents though like Verification of employment, Pay Stubs, T4 work permits ...etc...
Now, I have the letter- a soft copy .. How and when can I update Immigration canada with this letter of refernce
Thanks

Is it really going to make difference. will they consider the new reference letter?
