green_dc and feifei where did you get your medicals done. I mean which doctor.

Hey guys,

I applied on Jan 29, 2013.
Just received GCMS notes and says my eligibility has not even started (it shows a due date of March 8, 2014) :'(
I notified CPP Ottawa about my pregnancy and my intention of not proceeding with medicals till after the baby is born.
In the notes on GCMS, it says: ***On Hold*** due to my pregnancy.

I received an email from CPP Ottawa on December 4, 2013, informing me that they will not issue medicals due to my pregnancy.
From the email, I got the impression that they are ready to issue my medicals but I guess I was wrong as my eligibility has not even started... I just hope CPP Ottawa will not hold off evaluating my eligibility till I deliver my child (due in March 2014)...

I did my medical at the clinic of Dr. Sandhu in Calgary. After my tests, I called the clinic a couple of times to see if my results were uploaded. They however, didn't provide me with an answer. So i stopped call them again. Apparently, they uploaded the results as CIC says they received it.

Mine was done on the same day but with dr mascarenas in the Gta - hopefully this means Time between MR and PPR / COPR isn't too long!

Hello Lpc,

I got it done from Dr.Mascrenhas too on December 2nd. So has anyone recently got PPR/COPR who had done his/her medicals from him. I am asking to judge the time taken for PPR and COPR on an average.

I did in nov. I got ppr after 1 month. Some other guy did same time as I did, but he got ppr after 10 days.

It's totally up to the vo processing your application . He'll review the results on the next BF date and issue ppr.

Thanks eds, So i called the call centre twice and first time the agent said my Medical status is still in progress , but the second time the other agent said she cant see my file but she told me normally the uploaded results go to the RMO in Ottawa and they will review it with in 30 days. Once the visa officer gets the results he will update it seems. Anyway am fretting since i would like to get closure by end of January. Hope my wish comes true.

Thanks HY325.

By the way, I just got the PPR request. I cant send it now as I have a trip on December 25. But I will send it when Im back from the trip.
Just a crazy thought. If i send my passport tomorrow, would it be possible to receive it back before Dec 25?
What do you guys think of it :D?

Congrats! green_dc. So who is the visa officer , is it JP5777 ? I think the avreage time to get back the passport is 21 days according to the tracker. Though some people got back in 10 days. If you are not in ahurry better to send them in the new year.
