You must have a medical exam before you can become a permanent resident. Your family members must also have one, even if they are not coming with you.

We will not accept your application if your health:

is a danger to Canada's public health or safety, or
would cause too much demand on health or social services in Canada.
We will send you a letter to tell you how to get the medical exam after we send your application to the visa office.

hi everyone,

I applied in January and just received information & fee update and medical request on Nov 14th, noted that I did fill out my husband as family member but not accompany with me. on the medical request email, the person requested to do the medical is my husband name with UCI different to me. I don't understand, is there any mistake?? Am I supposed to do the medical exam? We think they may process my husband as well, but they asked to pay the fee only $490 (only one person)

Is there anyone has the same situation or explanation for me please? I'm so confused

Did you get 2 medical request emails? Check your inbox - you may find 2 emails, one for you and one for your spouse.

Hi eds - I did emedicals recently, I have not receive my medicals yet but did emedicals. My question here is - during the emedicals she did not ask for my application number and when I ask her how she gonna do it, she said it will be uploaded to cic system, we create a file for you and your can see the status of products application updated after a week. Not sure though how it works? Please advise.,

I assume that you provided your Name, Client ID, DOB and Nationality at the time of your medical exam. After the medical exam, the doctor would have provided a form (IMM1017) with an IME Number (barcode).

Doctor will upload the results using the IME number. You need to provide this IME number to the visa office. They will link the results from the IME to your CEC application.

I received RPRF and biodata requests today. so glad and relieved. Hopefully MR will follow soon.

Don't see any of today's date on your spreedsheet guys!! Is anyone bothering, quite a bit of action today !

well, currently im the only one updating the tracker
but obviously i have a life outside this forum and can't be on the website all day just to update the tracker for everyone
i tried to update the tracker at least once a day (usually at night)
so please be patient if the tracker isnt updated during the day or as quickly as you want
if you have a problem with that, just contact Andy and ask for the permission to edit the tracker yourself

Today, I have received Biodata and RPRF fee. All filed, paid, and submitted back by email.

I have one question. One of the first sentences in the email stated the following: "Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose."

Is that sentence present in all emails as a "template", or does it mean I am in for a long run?

first of all, congrats! i dont know how the rprf goes but ppl usually say that if you receive rprf, theres very slim chance it will actually go wrong. so i dont think you need to worry too much about it

well i added you to the tracker anyway X) i do have a little more time at night
