My current state: refreshing inbox every half hour. And when I get buzz, check my inbox only to see some offer / junk.. I Won't get nice sleep until I hear a good news from Ottawa ..

I did not send my police certs along with my application. I received my mr, RPRF and biodata on Nov 5th. A week later I received the request for police certificates. So you must receive the same as soon as they figure it's missing. good luck

eds1275 : I received my MR and Request for police clearance certificates.

Don't see Andy around much now a days?

Andy,

I see you got your passport request on Oct 23, if you happen to see this post, can you tell me if you have got your Passport after stamped along with COPR?

I got my passport request on Nov 8th and it was sent/to & received/by Ottawa on Nov 12.

-Cheers

my return tracker got activated yesterday evening , hopefully will get COPR and Passport today.

Congrats !!!

I received only the medical requests for my wife and myself this morning. I have to wait till Monday to book an appointment as all the doctor's offices are closed.

That's fast. I sent on 6th and they received on 7th. I hope my tracker gets activated in the next 2 weeks.

Glad to see someone from my home country getting MR finally. I hope it goes well for both you and your wife. All the best.
I am sure you will soon receive the rest shortly here as it seems to be the pattern.

exactly same as my current state. I don't think I'll hear from CIC this month whether it is a rejection or MR. I just want to know either way soon so I can move on. Some sort of closure would be nice.
But then, I am sure there are lots of people feeling this way.

I can never understand how some medical results are updated within 1-2 days whereas some require upto 1 month to process. In some cases, officers respond that medical results are not received yet even when the results were sent through emedicals.

I know that doctor uploads the results to emedicals which are processed by RMO (regional medical office). RMO then sends final medical decision to visa officer. What I dont know is how RMO works. Do they work on results in the order they were received? Or do they work on results only when the visa officer requests them?

hello squishy,

I think we have almost the same time line and I think we should hear back something by end of this month or early December. But certainly the closure will only come in Jan or Feb.

So hang in there as am in the same boat as you. :). Hope it helps.

My passport was received by Ottawa on 13th NOV. I guess it generally takes two weeks to get your return tracker to get activated.

Oh what I meant by a closure was something or anything almost or even kind of definitive whether it be a rejection or MR.
Yes it does surely feel a bit better to know that there are sooooooooooo many others waiting as me, let alone the ones that have waited even longer than most of us. I feel for them.
