Every single papers (except forms and originals) needs to be notarized to be in safe side.

Hi maheshnep
can you tell me how to fill the economic classes form ie at the moment if I am not working with noc code but different occupation, do I need to mention that job or not because the question asking from current or recent job.
Some more do I fill separate forms for schedule background decleration & additional family information for my child who is 6 years old or just by myself and my wife
finally about the payment is it enough to fill payment form with credit card details. CIC website said at the moment they not accepting online payment method and what about the payment receipt if we cant do that through online

Please help for these

Dear friend,

In Economic classes Federal Skilled form, Point No. 12 a, you have to fill the occupation from the eligible list. However, in 12 b, you have to list out all the occupation starting from your current occupation even if your current occupation does not fall in eligible list. But don't forget to mention exact occupation on Point No. 12a, on the basis of which you except that CIC have to evaluate your job experience.

No need to fill separate background declaration form for a child below 18 years.
Yes. CIC is accepting credit card. It is all about direct fund transfer like fax transfer etc.

Good luck to you. Friend, do it fast, if you want to fall in cap for 2013.

Is there tracking no. of the courier service? if yes, then it is ok. If not, you inquire with WES. It might be the case that not dispatched from WES. It happened with me too.

press release

July 23, 2013, 12:29 p.m. EDT
Statement by the Honourable Tony Clement President of the Treasury Board: PAFSO Negotiations

OTTAWA, ONTARIO, Jul 23, 2013 (Marketwired via COMTEX) -- On July 23, 2013, the Honourable Tony Clement, President of the Treasury Board, made the following statement:

The Government of Canada has presented the Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers an offer that is fair and reasonable to both employees and taxpayers.

Last week, the Professional Association of Foreign Service Officers requested the Government enter into binding arbitration to end the union's strike. The Government is willing to enter into arbitration, subject to certain conditions.

These conditions are subject to negotiation confidence and cannot be shared publicly. We will continue to bargain in good faith and we appreciate the bargaining agent's efforts at finding a resolution to the strike.

It is important to note that Foreign Service Officers have unique jobs that cannot be compared to others. These jobs are substantively different from public service lawyers, economists or commerce officers. The Foreign Service also has no recruitment or retention issues.

Our goal is to have diplomatic, consular and other services to Canadians fully restored as quickly as possible. We continue to take steps to ensure the timely processing of visas.

If there is a discrepancy between any printed version and the electronic version of this statement, the electronic version will prevail.

Dear friend, bar code is generated automatically when you fill Generic Application Form in computer and validate it. Put it on last of the generic application form.

Best of luck.

What does this mean. Is our processing being delayed because of this strike?

Not sure. But may be....
